I think the rear bumper got a bit of a steroid overdose! Black pack for the silver trim and a bigger tailgate spoiler would level out the rear proportions for me personally. Love the rest though, the C7 RS6 is/was my dream car.
Apparently the black pack will delete all the silver highlights including all the badges.. and the rear splitter / diffuser can be carbon if requiredI must be getting old, I am failing to see the point.
I like fast cars and this has silly performance for a massive estate car, but it just doesn't light my fire. For silly fast driving I would rather have a sports car, for a family wagon, I really don't need all that power. My old A6 with just under 300bhp has quick enough as an everyday car.

Can someone explain what is going on with German manufacturers' badging please.
For the last forever, BMW model badge on the right, Audi model badge on the right, Mercedes model badge on the left.
Now it seems anything goes. It started with the Z4M which inexplicably had the M badge on the left, now Mercedes suddenly has C63 on the left and AMG on the right, the opposite of how is has always been. Now this RS6 appears to have the RS6 badges on the left.
What is going on? Is it some kind of feng shui for Asian markets? It looks sloppy, random, and ignores decades of history.
If the rest of the car (the other 99.9999%) is good, then who cares where the badges go. Stick them in the middle, on the left, the right, on the roof, or best still in the bin! For the last forever, BMW model badge on the right, Audi model badge on the right, Mercedes model badge on the left.

I was thinking along similar lines; a Golf R estate or Leon Cupra ST (is that Cupra Leon ST, now?) is probably plenty quick enough with c300bhp. That rear is similar to what they did to the last update of the R8, but to me it makes the car look more like an Audi Allroad version of an estate for the odd farm track to get the Christmas tree, rather than something to ape a racetrack.
The front will make you feel empowered on the outside lane of the motorway whilst the Golf R driver in front looks anxiously in his rear view mirror at the king of the urban jungle closing up from behind.... or sumthink.

Completely agree. All this does is leave me feeling confused. I think Chris Harris said these cars are answering a question nobody is asking and they're completely pointless. Certainly in the UK.I like fast cars and this has silly performance for a massive estate car, but it just doesn't light my fire. Even with the biggest lottery win this would still be irrelevant.

You're getting old. HTH. I'm sure some would argue 300bhp is OTT and pointless, and 150bhp is quick enough as an every day car. Audi must have let an interne loose on the design of the back because I can't beleive it was from the same designer. The styling looks like it it's from another model and ruins what could have been an epic car.
I think they just wholesale nicked the design from Grand Theft Auto.I do rather like it though. Gunmetal and blackpack for me with baseball glove leather.

Me too. Big range, quiet, comfy, fit loads in it. And a sports car with non of the above but more fun.I like fast cars and this has silly performance for a massive estate car, but it just doesn't light my fire. Considering this will cost £110k with all the sporty chassis, brake, engine, suspension options you could get a brand new Boxster GTS and a A6 sport 45 TFSI quattro

I do get what you are saying but I've always really liked the RS6 because it is so overpowered and mostly pointless(in the UK at least). So it makes me want one even more because of it! Not a car I would buy particularly, mainly as I cant afford it and am getting past speed for speeds sake to an extent, wouldnt say no but it is at odds with keeping my license, but am glad they still make stuff like this.
