I'll go against trend and say the production version looks great and certainly a more practical daily proposition.

Had the concept not appeared in the form it did I'm sure the reaction to this would have been far more positive. Its comfortably the best looking 'standard' EV car.
Yes I agree fully with that. I bet it looks great in the flesh on the street and instantly recognisable.

I'm trying to find more photo's or video of the interior, especially the back, not seen much yet.

The before and after here resembles a trip to the pub where you pull a stunner when youre full of beer only to discover its a bush-pig in the morning when the beer wears off. Sad.

You can always buy a fantastically designed Pug e208, Vahxhall e Corsa , Kia e Niro or MG ZS EV if you think the Honda e is boring compared to it's design study,

I bet the first time you see it on the street you will look twice, not something you will be able to say for the above.

Shame as the concept was decent. Real thing looks to be a bit of a noddy car.
it looks closer than the taycan does

some body coloured wrap and some audi a1 quattro rims and your done
Just shows what a hard time designers have with us lot rofl Some think it looks the same, some like me think it looks very different.

This

isn't anything like this to me

Apart from the grille looking similar it looks to me like they threw the rest of the concept away. The real thing even has an extra pair of doors which always spoil the looks of small cars.

Anyway, each to their own. I just thought it was a shame they could keep it close to the concept rather than making something that looks like a modified Skoda Fabia.
Let's summarise this

It actually looks like the concept, but it has 5 doors and no huge inch wheels with extended flared arches, so that is actually the sticking point.... not that it does not look like the original.

In general it does look like the original, but people want a 2 door manga Audi short base quattro verson from the design studio and so the eyes just pick up those details.

Considering the 5 door utilitarian version is being touted as too expensive the 2 door designer version would not have sold anything.

All these design critics on here have less chance of buying one than the new Defender, so it does not matter anyhow.

It's very simple. It's lost its attitude. It's gone from something that looks like it's ready to pounce to granny's hatchback.

I really like that. Rear wheel drive, bags of torque, independent suspension all round. Winner.

I disagree, MINI do fine with 2 door models. The whole design is different, looks nothing like the concept to me at least.

You are correct that I wouldn't buy one anyway given the price and woeful range but that doesn't discount me from having an opinion. It is just an opinion, this is a discussion forum after all.
