I can 't help but feel that the car was split down the middle 50/50 and then one McLaren designer was asked to design the front and another told to design from the middle backwards...but neither were allowed to see what the other was working on.

The result is in keeping with the 'design language', but somehow not quite right, front to back.

Neither half is bad - they just don't seem to fit together.

@maldini I heard that it was “pre-production” however it’s probably more important than ever to give a journalist a car as free of faults as ever. No excuse.
I agree - not making excuses for it - they need to give the engineers more time to troubleshoot

The Aston and Bentley are far nicer and capable GT's. It really is a horrid looking car as well.

In the big wafty sense maybe, interesting to read the review of the Conti GT vert today. The rear seats seem useless unless you have no legs and a driving experience described as “watching the world pass by on a gigantic television”. Sounds like a Range Rover - appealing but not exactly entertaining.

To be honest I can see where this is going as an alternative to choosing between a Supercar or a traditional Grand Tourer for a road trip. Aren’t these cars supposed to be driven?
