Design wise and looks(to my eyes) I find Audi(mostly) very hard to beat. Their interior and exterior design certainly hits the spot for me.

"Price: TBC (£90,000 estimated)"

More relevant would be estimates for the deposit, monthlies, final payment and excess miles hehe

Which oddly enough will be based on the selling price minus the residual + the interest.

Lovely, that is going to be great fun.

My dad has a new shape A7 on massive wheels (20 or 21 maybe) and that rides just fine, super comfortable and doesn't cause issues in the rain.

I agree, just acquired a 50tdi with the 21” wheels and it rides fine. Plus I agree with the post that Audi seem to nailing it looks wise. Have a C Class as well and it seems so chintzy compared to the sharp lines Of the Audi, in and out.

"The steering itself is good for a variable ratio rack, as while it lacks feel..."

What do you mean by "is good for a variable ratio rack"?

A variable ratio rack has almost no effect on the the steering feel. Variable valving or motor software does however.
