Sorry, going back to the Ferrari, does anyone know if the car got out OK, wasn't too damaged?
Before we do, just want to say that I’m right in this case and everyone else is in denial, I’ve been on the road for 9 years, driving various different cars with different configurations, the BMW’s have been the most unnerving in the wet and one of them spun out on the M25.

It doesn’t matter what it could be, to an average driver such as myself, the BMW is the most prone to an accident. That’s why I love them though, keep me on my toes! M4 soon biggrin

Cheers let’s get back to the ferrari
Why do you want an M4? Really, a genuine question. I worry for your and other road users' safety. For God's sake spend some money on driver training rather than a new car.
Agreed, the guy’s a fruit loop

M4 will be in a few years as I’m still enjoying the H***A!

I’m not as bad as a driver as you think but even if I am a terrible one, I don’t speed anymore in the rain and there’s nowhere to speed when it’s dry as there’s cars everywhere! I do give my H***A a blast now and then but only in the middle of the night on these clear bumpy Surrey roads, thank god for the adaptive dampers, comfort mode soaks up all the bumps, fantastic car.

You sound like a liability and are probably as bad a driver as we think you are. You need to sort yourself out before you damage yourself or more importantly someone else. Not smart.

is this real, or am I due an aquaplaning parrot?
Does an aquaplaning parrot go Splooosh rather than whooosh?

I know this is a wind up Eric, and a pretty good one at that as you have maintained this persona for quite a while now (I almost believe that you actually think what you write), but if you do post some more of excellent videos up, could you make them a little shorter please? Bravo for all the effort you put into keeping the joke going though. That takes some dedication. TarpaTow take note!

Do you do other characters as well, or do you specialise is just this one?
Wasn't there a similar character who used to try and wind folk up about the merits of BMWs? (not the mapped 335d guy)

What a great thread, but I'm so disappointed we are so far in and I can't see if anyone has checked if it was leased yet?

If it was a free service to check if on finance, it would have been done. But it's like two quid for a HPI check or summat.

I find numberplate detectives weird. Going to out of their way to check a stranger's MOT. rofl

I take exception to being called a schoolboy by someone like that.

My comment probably was cringey but I'm not here to make friends or pander to people, so I will take the subsequent comments on the chin.

Fair play for pulling me up for it.
Next time I'm looking at a used car I won't check it's MOT history on line that helps as an indication of the mileage history, whether it's been looked after by previous owners judging by the reasons for any failures or if I want to know more about a particular car for whatever reason. For me it has a use for when I want to look at it. If you find it weird then so be it but there's no reason to make stupid childish comments so wind your neck in.
Except, you're not looking at a used car here, are you? You're looking at a photo of a binned Ferrari, and you decided you'd go digging for something to post up. Which you did.

Don't try to compare researching used cars with what you were doing here.

Wait, maybe I've gotten this all wrong and the F430 in the photo is actually for sale and your were considering buying it.

I guess that must be the case, given your rationale above, and no-one would be stupid enough to use that as an argument for checking the plate in the OP.

Sorry about that, I got you all wrong. Can we see the link to the advertisement?

Taken out of context, I meant to say that in my 9....no point explaining.

Mr Mike 335i, admit it, you’re just mad that I possess the undisputed hot hatch king, I wear the crown to the Nurburgring

What a thread !

Getting spat at in a Lotus - only in the UK (I did get called a ‘knob head’ in a 911 once... after an error on my part so probably deserved).

Jealousy a British problem and no German word for schadenfreude !

BMWs are lethal because Clarkson drag raced on a flooded runway at 120mph with the stability control off and someone spun one on the motorway, in the peeing down, speeding, on bald tyres (Christ).

Subaru’s can’t aquaplane and any slide in the wet is aquaplaning.

Brilliant.

If you are overly concerned over aquaplaning you really want a car with slimmer tyres with deep tread to allow the water out of the channels.

If you are concerned about losing grip and control in the wet you want AWD and possibly traction control.

If your skills are a concern you really don't want daft power, RWD, wide tyres. So perhaps an M4 or similar isn't the most cunning plan.
