It would've required a special kind of bravery / recklessness to drive that at 210mph on a public road!

I visited the Kremer Porsche at the Petersen Museum a few months ago, its something to behold in the flesh. As luck would have it, I found myself sat next to one of the curators of the Petersen Museum at a bar in New York, when I told my knowledge of the Whittington Brothers story and their back history, he had no idea whatsoever and duly called the owner to find out more.

Made me chuckle anyway, "bloke in a bar told me...."

Not an.original though, all it'll ever be is a copy...a fake..
No different to a 'Bolex' watch available on any CDS seafront..
completely different as a bolex won't have the same quality or mechanisms etc

some replicas are the same like the recently for sale 993 rs rep with a legit engine

or to make a replica cayman t, remove the air conditioning and fit fabric door pulleys from a base model

Also anyone who loves the 935 k and that 1979 win by the Whittington brothers should watch Youtube title.

Racing in the 1970s was just as awesome as you think it was, by Vinwiki

It should be a film it would make Ford v Ferrari look tame.

That car is now owned by Bruce Meyer (Peterson museum chairman). He's also got some cool stories on the car (along with others). This is his appearance on the Smoking Tyre podcast not long ago.
