I am the lucky owner of the car on Alfanut, and it's interesting to read the comments and thoughts of people on the car generally.
Firstly I would never call it a supercar, it may have been designed by Gandini as was the Muir's, but that is a supercar. On the other hand you could probably buy 15 or so Monty's for one Lambo, so there is a bit of a price differential!
Many comments talk about the problems and cost of ownership, all fair points but true of any 40+ year old car. So the old adage is as true as ever....check the car carefully, get it on a ramp, check the history and buy the best you can afford. If you can't, walk away!
Look at the difference, particularly on ride height between my car and the one for sale, lower looks so much better, and if you can get one with sensible upgrades then it will serve you so much better.
And if you did have the money perhaps better to buy 1 Muira than 15 Monty's!

There's Giulia's and GTV's, no such thing as Giulia GTV.
Giulia Sprint GT Veloce, it’s pretty close to be fair.

Like DIno's, these were pretty cheap in the 80s, amazing that they go for £50k+ now. I think they're fantastic and look great, love the Alfa Nut video!

acalex, I love your car! thumbup

I first read about them in my Observers Book of Cars in the early 70s when I was in my early teens, and I thought they were just stunning!

I haven't changed my mind - enjoy. driving

I remember going to a Ferrari Owners Club concours at Dudley Mason Styrron's place in about 1983. The back lawn was covered in 50's and 60's prancing horse rarities, but the only car with a bit of a crowd round it was a red one of these, parked off to one side. It's still the only one I've ever seen.

Was this owned by Ken Bradshaw, Ferrari owners club secretary?

I always think of my 2 Bertone GTV’s as Giulia’s. It’s really quite nice to think I now own 3 Giulia Veloce’s.

Magnificent madness. I remember seeing a silver one regularly parked at the side of the road in the Barbican (London) area.
It’s still around. I saw it in an underground car park in Clerkenwell recently. It’s a thing of beauty. I wish I’d bought one a decade ago when they were as cheap as chips.

I'm not sure, but it was definitely parked in an 'I'm in charge and I'll park my Alfa wherever I like' manner, so it could have been.

They're not rust buckets, contrary to popular opinion. A few random cars did have rust but generally they weren't affected the way other Alfas were.
Mine has been in the family since 1976 and has had all the sensible upgrades and it's brilliant. Love driving it, the engine sings and the gear ratios are beautify close...

Rare RHD example to be auctioned at the NEC next month...

This RHD beauty was in the same workshop as my Cooper S when it was being restored there a few years ago...

I'd love one... cloud9

Car is beautiful and it is reasonable fast too. I like this a lot. I hope it would 65000€ (or possibly more) cheaper.
