I bought one last month, took it on track last week at thruxton, it’s great, I also bought a carbon wheeled car.

I’d like to know as well. RUK aren’t supporting that kind of discount directly. Some dealer is sucking it up if that quote is correct

I was offered on without cf wheels for £41 k Devon area dealer
All other ones for sale was told had to have the cf wheels , 51k
So 47k with cf wheels is good price, don’t seem to be shifting them any quicker with discounts, also noticed that botb win a car has one in there weekly car draw valued at 41k without cf option

I thought that dealers were free to sell at whatever price they wanted. I doubt RUK would get involved in price fixing. It would be illegal.

Of course they’re free to sell at whatever price they want, but RUK (as per all manufacturers) give discount from their end, dealers then use their margins if they wish. The price being discussed goes above all of those by a very large amount (as you can see from the quotes Bigwod has mentioned above) so the dealer is taking a huge bath for literally no benefit except shifting a single unit.

I believe the discount that was/is offered from RUK brought the cars to just shy of £50k with carbon wheels.

So yes, the offer was less than this, the car I mentioned is already at a dealership and has been for some time. I believe they wanted to move the car on rather than discuss selling a car without the wheels and then have to order from import centre.
