To be fair, that's the pearl white, which has a blue shade in it - it also costs an extra £1,656.

If I'd been braver and less caught up in the spec and the costs, I'd have had the plain no cost white and wrapped it in a proper '70's lime green or tangy orange.

Love the car and the grey and blue colours suits it whilst the white makes the car look pretty lardy and awful. I reckon a candy metallic red would look delicious too.

I'm with Julian on this.

Or you could go for normal white...

Ps Primrose Yellow (Jag colour) for me please on the non-existent Alpine paint to sample programme.

Both wraps would have been awesome choices.

I expect an A110 paint to sample in something like this to be extremely hard to resist!!!

The S version is crying out for an orange paint option - as it has orange trim inside and out.

Don't get me wrong about the plain no cost white, that was the colour of my order until a late heartfelt change of plan.

Yup. No regrets here on going Alpine Blue, but green would have been hard to resist.

I think a white one would be an interesting car. I declined to purchase one this year because I felt that the car wasn’t as hardcore as an Elise which I had wanted for a long time.

What is interesting is that I still really fancy one now that I own the Lotus. It seems like the A110 has a special personality of its own.

For me I think the new S model will perhaps be the one.
The Alpine is my daily driver.
It does have a personality of its own and it’s just a great drive at any speed.
I intended ordering the blue but when I saw the grey in the showroom I changed my mind. The grey is great in the sun and I do prefer the blue callipers.

I decided not to sell my Elise (the original plan) as they both do have very distinct characters. I think it sums up what a great car it is in the fact that on a nice weekend for a great drive out the Elise isn’t the automatic choice.

I expect this would be quite a marmite choice. Which is why they haven't offered it.

No jokes about wheel options please.

I think you should try one. I think a 220 Elise is terrific too - but an A110 has something very special too. It's one of those cars which you want to drive and which get under your skin. For me a Caterham does, an Elise does - but so does an A110. And an A110 does the boring stuff which few alternatives do.

That a good looking car - well done but I think with four seats the luggage space would become the issue unless there was more space behind the rear seats

That grey does look good. Just had a look at the available colour options: are they really only available in whites, blues and greys?

A metallic green like this, or even a darker green would look good
