rofl don’t ask...

According to Auto Express they are higher than a Porsche Cayman lol. Believe that paid for review and you’ll believe anything.

For balance three year old Renault residuals are usually around 20-30%...
Relatively limited supply, bought almost exclusively by enthusiasts and universally praised as one of, if not the best sports car of recent times will mean the residuals on these are really good. If you're waiting 3 years in the hope for a £10k Alpine then good luck I think Chris Harris burnt one to the ground.

A lot of spin as usual from the Renault-Alpine owners.

They only started deliveries in Aug18 so one year old examples are unlikely to be representative.

What I did notice though was the pcp gfv’s are somewhat lower than Porsche.

Of course you’ll tell me 100 reasons why that means nothing, finance discounts etc... All I can see is every thread about this car has a lot of concern being expressed over residuals.

That people don’t expect much of them outside actual owners and the paid for reviews I’d say is rather telling.

I couldn't have a car like that in Clio grey. If you're going to go grey it needs to be a good grey, or else it ends up looking like a cheap suit of a car.

Really like the Alpine, but I'd be splashing the cash on a good colour if it was me.

By you... it's a bit repetitive when you post the same things in every Alpine thread.

You can easily check what the residuals are really like on the sites I mentioned; sale prices are the only accurate measure, after all.

AND on WBAC. I valued my car and a comparable 718 Cayman. Both results well below dealer prices BUT - my car £40750, Cayman £36105.

If you learn to read you’ll see I didn’t raise it at all in this thread. I merely answered the concern expressed about the issue by another poster.

Perhaps if you sought some balance to your owner posts your case would be stronger, as it is all these alpine threads seem to turn into the same circle jerking fanboy propaganda.

Ah bcr, was wondering when you’d arrive. Perhaps you could tell us how many Alpines vs Caymans were sold in the UK?

Apparently they sold well in France... rofl

I think you must be looking at an earlier thread. I answered a poster earlier today.

Either way it is certainly a recurrent issue.

Timo, the owners are not concerned about residuals as we bought the cars to drive and enjoy. The fact that the residuals are strong is an indication of the market supply and demand. Alpine have produced an excellent sportscar in a very competitive area and I think it is the best one for my needs.
I never cease to be amazed by people like you who seem rather bitter about the whole thing. A guy has just bought a new car and you’re making childish snipes at him. If you are envious then deal with it- get some counselling or spend some time on self improvement rather than spouting the same old crap on every alpine thread. Your comments and opinions are worthless as they are formed from a position of blind ignorance.

You are mistaken as I’ve never deleted a post.

I do think some earlier argument may have been deleted by the moderators however due to a certain contributor breaking posting rules.

Except you didn’t answer the poster. Despite all evidence being to the contrary you thought you’d make another pointless jibe based on no information whatsoever...
