Fair play, we’re in the presence of greatness.

Please, take my seat. Can I get you a beer?

It's the lower capacity, so perhaps less attractive. If I had purchased it, I would probably let it die gracefully - a death of pattern parts.
A lot of European countries got the 260SE as a base facelift W126, so a 300SE doesn't sound too bad at all. Much love for that.

Gents, I seem to recall on this thread someone recommended a vent-mounted mobile phone holder. If so, please let me know the brand, thanks.

A Mega Mount.

£7.99 on Amazon, or £25 round the back of the pub.

A 550i Sport touring on 149k, what could possibly go wrong? Probably the only one likely to appear within thread budget any time soon. If it worked and I had any money I'd be interested.

Excellent selection. That 740i is lovely.

Pullman is magnificent and that Avantime looks terrible with those mods, but should be an easy fix.

Efforts much appreciated.

I’ll take

1 brave pill for the E38 740i with the large wall tyres, then

2pills for the CL600

What the hell is going on with that Avantime bonnet? The vents and the decals? Other than that, yes please.

I think we'll have to rock/paper/scissors for it... Or the barge equivalent I suppose - claybar, chammy, spanner?

any thoughts on a Mondeo 15 plate. I need to sell my bmw 645 for something more practical for kids.

They're good cars, but no replacement for a real barge... A 4-pot diesel is going to feel awful after a V8.

E92's are happily around at that kind of money now - 325 estate? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

Or even a 330i: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

Could also do diesel, but they're a bit more expensive.

hehe

dealer has got back to me, it's going for an MOT tomorrow and they're going to look at the mirror too. If the mirror can be sorted there and then I will likely buy the car and collect Wednesday. If it can't be sorted then it'll be a case of waiting until it's done.

I wouldn’t.

Find an E320 cdi estate in budget. I’m biased though.
