Just had a message.... It's just passed the MOT smile

It did actually fail initially on "nearside position lamp not working correctly" but clearly that's been rectified smile

I dont think I am allowed to post a link to my own car but it is now live on eBay with all details - it is a bit light on photos but it is due to be valeted, brimmed with fuel and photographed over the weekend so I will update the eBay listing then, hopefully on Sunday. If anyone wants to share the ad here, please feel free!
This one sounds just like yours and local.

For other threadists I have bought a car from Nick in the best thread tradition of one way train ticket and an itchy bank account, it was perfectly as described and he gave me a lift from the station!

Ben
Thanks Ben, hope you're well.

The much unloved W220 in S500 guise with questionable, but clean(ish), Designo exterior and interior. To be honest, it makes my teeth itch, but it's within thread budget and surely quite unique. At least one Michelin tyre, which is a good sign amongst the thread cognoscenti.

I have to say, whilst I'm not averse to a green interior that car as a whole is an abomination.

Nice..

I love green, it's such a shame we don't see it more often, although I'd prefer a dark hue for the exterior.

For me, it's the garish combination of Lexus-style wood tone and the almost pastel green interior that it mostly repulsive.

ps Does the link on the original post above work, whilst embedded in the pic? I think that I may have finally cracked it! smash

Alfa 159 estate with the 3.2, £5500. You know what it'll do to you, but you still want to...

thats massive tax on that - dunno why i thought the 3.2 awd would be faster than it is - still, the old Alfa heart strings are fluttering again seeing that....

I can sometimes be contrary and in general admire an unconventional colour scheme, but that really doesn't work at all well.

Wow that’s nasty.
At some point someone has looked at all the options available and picked that. Then no-one stopped them.

With the focus here on Lexus LSs the last few days, I'm now contemplating asking my specialist if he still wants to buy my Alfa Gtv so I can join the wafting.

Usually there is always something else that pops here that resets my desire hence I dont progress with selling and take the gtv for a drive and decide to stay put.

After 11 years of a little Alfa, all week I've been imagining a comfy Lexus.

This is now my go to car thread for tea breaks smile

Well we have a couple of 'live' options right now; Ross's and/or Nick's. At least one of them is available - but right now it's hard to tell which one!

Well done for keeping the faith and ignoring all the dealer-bashing nonsense of last night.

Please don't suggest that he needs to reflect.

Ross can buy whatever he wants but he stated he isn't clued up about buying from a dealer and the 'protection' that comes with it.
I hope it proves to be a very good car.
