Well done for keeping the faith and ignoring all the dealer-bashing nonsense of last night.
The communication was/is poor. We're all allowed to state our opinions.
It was, but IMO for both parties. Sometimes a quick phone call can solve all the anxieties, rather than staring at a phone for days waiting for a text to arrive.

Ross, you should buy Nick's Lexus
+1, Ross, you should consider this before finally committing.

How was is nonsense?

Please don't suggest that he needs to reflect.
Wednesday delivery was a bit of an overpromise what with a duff mirror and an MOT to sort, and communication has been weak, but not worth dummy/spit/toys/pram imo. Forecourt shot soon enough smile

I'll just chime in with this red 460:

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

As I've stated in my Buying thread I'm sticking with the 9-3 for now barring any enormous MOT bill, but I did fancy this one. Except the wheels of course!

I think that one has featured already, I remember slating the wheels.

I must admit to tremendous temptation towards Nicks LS460, it looks delightful, perfect colour and spec and it's about 5 minutes drive from where I'm sat right now. I really shouldn't though.

Yes, we had the red one earlier and similar comment on the wheels. I think it kicked-off the recent LS460 chat

I'll declare it Statement Red.

I have had a chat with Nick and for various reasons I'd personally prefer the one I'm looking at. Nick's also has a mirror that isn't working rofl

But if the sale does fall through I will certainly consider it.

For me, it's the garish combination of Lexus-style wood tone and the almost pastel green interior that it mostly repulsive.

Wow that’s nasty.
At some point someone has looked at all the options available and picked that. Then no-one stopped them.
Salesman: The customer is always right wink

IIRC, MB limit the color option combos. Obviously this is why designo exists.

Good stuff Ross.

Does anyone use/own a fag lighter-powered tyre pump? Plenty to choose from on the bay of dreams. Now that the nearest garage has upped their price from 50p to a quid, I may as well buy one for around £15

I use a cycling track pump. It's the only exercise I get.

One of these lives in the van and has lasted a few years now of occasional use for tyres / bike tyres / kids holiday floating devices etc when away.

I have tried with my track pump but it's bloody hard work. I must be a bit of a wimp. I'll take a punt on one from eBay

Yep, just realised that was me. I'm in some kind of Lexus/Saab haze at the moment.

I have one of the cheap Halfords ones, does the job perfectly well but takes around 8-10 minutes to totally fill a flat tyre.
