Good stuff Ross.
Does anyone use/own a fag lighter-powered tyre pump? Plenty to choose from on the bay of dreams. Now that the nearest garage has upped their price from 50p to a quid, I may as well buy one for around £15

No fag socket needed.
I'll report back.
Time to dust off your British Home Stores slippers with this one.
Any love for the 600.

They were once but a 320d would make a monkey of one now, and that T Series is nearly as rough as a diesel engine too. 25mpg and Rover fragility for almost nothing in return - a hard pass for me.Edited by SlowV6 on Friday 15th November 17:08
Congratulations, Ross. Tonight will feel like Xmas Eve did when you were a kid
The car looks cracking and I'm sure you'll find lots of reasons to be nipping out in it.
Damn, I forgot to pick up a pint of milk. Forty miles later...
Will be keeping an eye out tomorrow for the forecourt shot

Have spoken to the dealer and all set for collection tomorrow approx 1:45pm. I'm working in the morning unfortunately!
RE the mirror - it isn't sorted, the garage are looking at it first thing tomorrow, if they cannot sort it he said I can either bring it back at some point to be sorted or we can knock something off of the price. Either way, it's not a deal breaker for an otherwise good car.
Excited. I've been without a barge for over 3 years now so it'll be nice to step back into the world of leather, comfort and silence (until I step on the loud pedal....).
Fortunately I can get my servicing done at trade price for parts and a heavy discount on labour for MOST stuff as my Uncle is really rather high up (a director) of Micheldever Tyres, who are pretty well known
Forecourt shot will be done tomorrow I am sure!

You got me excited....that's "just" a 750i.Not sure if we've had this? Just under thread max low mileage 760i......
But I have been put off E65s somewhat. They are truly brilliant barges, and they are fairly sharp to drive considering what they are....I'm not sure if they are all like my old one but bugger me they can be expensive to run.
I did an insurance quote with go compare a while ago and was happy with the prices. Just went to change my policy with Hastings and they said I need to speak to them.....phoned them and they said they couldn't quote me at this time weird.....never had a claim in 13 years of driving, no points on my licence and I don't live in Iraq. They insured the 745i for me....?!
So have just sorted insurance with another company

Whoops, I've edited the original post - i was sure it said 760i (as that was the main reason for posting!) But I have been put off E65s somewhat.
