Once you've had the NASCAR soundtrack it's a difficult thing to forget. biggrin
Definitely.
Think (on reflection) it's been getting worse the last 6-12 months. But it's been a nice noise and so I've not really noticed.
Now it's standard it sounds like a very smooth eurobox.

It actually sounded (when fully broken) very much like that BM work no cats

A fairly loaded R500 at the link below, don't know if it will stay in budget but I suspect there's a decent chance that it could

That's with Sterling Cars, on the basis of just reading their ads/bullst. Not a fan

Maybe worth investing in a custom mid-pipe with switchable outlets or something? Sorry, not very barge-content like.

Fair enough, don't see many of these about though hence I thought it might be of interest.

Are we allowed to let people know about offers on here?
There's some decent prices on the black O website today. I've got a set of new Pilot Sports at a relatively good price. Their fitted price was cheaper than anyone elses non-fitted price

Yep, the only restriction tends to be hawking your own car. Good tip as I could do with some new tyres.

My nascar noise at the moment... It’s louder in person, can’t talk to someone next to you.

This is what it says when you try pick a gear despite you being able to see it has revs so is on. Just keeps going back to P. Got a obd2 diagnostic cable on the way to read some codes.

Fix gearbox, leave exhaust.
Sounds awesome.

Dropping the mechatronic valve body tomorrow to see if its the common failure seal or something worse.

This was my old shed of a e38 with no backboxes, I like noise smile

I spotted this too; whilst it may have fallen into the hands of an unromantic stock shifter, the colour is unusual, the interior light, there are dvd screens and the MOT history is clean. I would and... I may.

EDIT: The bid history to date has been littered with a number of sub-3* rating bidders...

I'm pretty sure they'll shill it up to what they paid at BCA + a smallish margin... Doesn't mean I wouldn't though, it's likely to be pretty cheap.

BCA don't let you just walk away from a car after a test drive though.

Exactly. I know we've discussed them before but I think they sound like a reasonable outfit - they don't dress it up as anything but effectively flipping cars, and don't spend too much time filling an ad with lies. Everything that has serious faults is clearly labelled, more than some traders do these days!

Saw an X351R at lunchtime that made me want one, badly... I'd have to settle for this instead though.

Getting cheaper than the X308R now which is encouraging.
