Buy it for a quid, flog the extra set of DHP wheels and give them the profits, as an upstanding chap.
Then smoke around in it for a few months and sell it on to a threadist at your leisure.
That’s a kind idea. Then smoke around in it for a few months and sell it on to a threadist at your leisure.

You've got to wonder with that one - it's very cheap. If there's nothing major wrong with it it's a steal. MOT history isn't even scary https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2...

Not sure why this has some appeal, but not many people would expect a 3.3 V6 to be under the bonnet!
In my 30 years of being on this planet, not once have I ever seen someone take a photo every 2 steps around a car and use them to sell the car. Not sure why this has some appeal, but not many people would expect a 3.3 V6 to be under the bonnet!
It's like watching a YouTube video in the 80s. So fking bizarre.

It won't cost 'that' much more than running a V8. In fact my V12 S600TT used less fuel than my V8 SL55AMG so I was practically being paid to drive it.....
My 6l v12 averages 14My 5l v10 averages 15
My 5l v8s average 17
Get the v12 while you can.
This advice is not regulated, and the price of petrol may go down as well as up.
The i3 does about a million mpg so it cancels out

Large Kia and Hyundai saloons are 90% of the cars on the roads in Seoul. Seems 3litres are the norm. Not sure why this has some appeal, but not many people would expect a 3.3 V6 to be under the bonnet!
Latest models look quite smart, maybe not that best interiors but so spacious and comfy seats.
Here's the new version of the Sonata I saw on the way home today.

Wouldn't surprise me if they wrote off the 7, bumper, wing, headlight, buying new + paint & fitting & hire car charges. That'll soon rack up.
Options then could be take the money buy some thing off my winter estate hack list. Or buy back the 7 for a couple of grand maybe, then 2nd hand headlight and a 'smart repair' type flash over the scuffed corner. Could see me have a respectable 760 for the under 3K. then just keep it run it into the ground. I'm not gunna find a better car for 3k!
Would be interested in buying it off you if the insurance write it off. Options then could be take the money buy some thing off my winter estate hack list. They have written the 760 off, I've bought it back off company and it's now for sale. I wont post link to maintain rules but please PM me LTA

I spend a lot of time in Korea and you are pretty much spot on; the mid size salloon from hyundai that I have driven a lot is the Aslan; 3 litre V6, heated and cooled electric memory front seats, heated rear seats, dual zone climate, stereo controls in the rear centre arm rest, adaptive cruise, sat nav, voice control, bluetooth etc etc. and It's quite a good looking thing too, however the interior is very plasticky, the gearbox is ponderous and slow and it does not ride or handle very well, especially in the back.Latest models look quite smart, maybe not that best interiors but so spacious and comfy seats.

But, they are astonishingly cheap out there with the top spec version less than £30 k equivalent
some of the bigger cars look even better, though I cant say whether the ride and handling is any better in the bigger ones as I haven't driven them; genesis G90, Kia K9 etc
also the extend to which their cars are a 'tribute' to the big 3 German brands is quite comical at times
Late to the party but regarding changing auto gearbox oil, particularly Mercedes 722.6, I did this on my CLK 270 and it made a good difference at 125k. I only did 4l fluid, filter and pilot bush (gearbox connector which often leaks) as I couldn't be bothered messing with flushing the torque converter (there is no drain hole) but have run it for a few miles and will extract another 4l from down the dipstick tube and put another 4l fresh in therefore diluting the overall mixture. I used Fuchs Titan 4134 which was highly recommended and febi filter and seal. Get a genuine Mercedes pilot bush if you do it. The cheapo ebay dipsticks do work to get the level correct also.
5.7 Cherokee with lpg conversion (might want a less stupid tank), £4295 seems low.

This looks good at 3-and-a-quarter bags.
Full history, one owner, low miles, folding rear seat & striped carpet!

I’ve no idea what the hell he’s done to that glove box lid...

The facelifts always look in decent nick because the lights don’t cloud like the pre-facelift. I could be wrong but don’t think any facelift would have had those wheels but probably swapped at some point. Cheap motoring. 2003 S350L 150k miles in light metallic blue
