Clearly a scam listing.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MERCEDES-BENZ-C-CLASS-C...

The amusing thing is that it was easily spotted because there's been no shill bidding.
And there's a description (albeit a handful of words) which there wouldn't be with a MDP listing.

The scam lister doesn't know how to do the Palmier shuffle, obvs.

Oh aye, the same scamster has loads of interesting looking stuff listed, not just Mercs.

Just thought the Palmier pic/listing was more funny because it's so distinctive.
It's like someone doing a bad impersonation of Uri Geller.

LS460 at thread max with 126k. They are out there. There's a cheaper one in Glasgow, but 173k is a bit rich for me.

Reg plate is only one digit away from mine.

I’ve just asked SWMBO if she fancies it, just to satisfy my VRM OCD. Predictably she told me to FRO.

what is the point of those scam listings, would anyone honestly think those were real!

There are 2000 items listed, someone has a lot of time on their hands.

That he asked, or she said no?!

My favourite A6 4.2 Avant has had the ad reactivated at 3.5k. I'd be optimistic that the rainbow on the road was a bus, not the sump. And would inevitably bridge the gap to thread max fixing it hehe

Black on black XJR at 4195 still available. Aren't we expecting pictures of a collection of similar?!

Noooooo! (IMHO)

Halfway through the life of W212 they completely changed the way their cars were drawn and the facelift was an awful push me pull you of old and new.

Either styling language is ‘ok’. ( I know we don’t like that term in here, but it is ‘a thing’)

But the combination was a disaster. The organic animal snouty softness of the facelift grille and bumper with the sharpness and tensioned-fabric-over-frame of the profile style lines. Uck.

yes

Mercedes always try to facelift their cars into a completely new design direction and it never works.

Or maybe it the type that are welded in?

There's a doohickey you can buy for the swappable kind.

Not mine but someone very closely linked, selling the LandCruiser in readiness for a sojourn in Trudea-pia;

Listed on multiple sites including https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Land-Cruiser-Ama...

It’s a nice (if thirsty) car, built like the proverbial outhouse but using proper fixings (unlike the P38 which it replaced and probably keeps a dozen fixings suppliers in businesses). Thread discount may apply, but that’s not my department.

Any love here?

The perfect car. And I even like the colour. Just not the right time for me unfortunately, will have one one day though. Are the leaks easy to fix? Never realised this was an LC issue.

Who wouldn't love a vendor who goes through photo process and thinks, what shall I snap? Seat bolsters? Engine? Details? Features? Nah, my audience just want fking crumbs, and grit.
