Taxi spec! Brilliant. Tragic lack of interior shots so we can't play blanking-plate bingo.
An overlooked observation. This game must be a thread obsession!JF87 said:

My S211 isn't a thread car as such....in that it cost me more than double the top of thread budget, 3 years ago.
It's a E55 on a 54 plate and is currently costing me a fking fortune, with a service and MOT still to come this month.
This thread did inspire it though, as I went from a succession of new cars, to going out looking for something thread worthy in a E500 flavour. Then I had a go in a E55 and bought that instead, obviously!
We lead parallel motoring lives. My 54-plate E55 estate just had a service and MOT. Throw in some brake bits and a couple of parking sensors and it ended up setting me back a grand. In three years and just over 20K miles I've spent over £4K on it. Does 20mpg at best. Now over 160K miles so I'd struggle to get much for it. However, its continued willingness to accelerate almost instantly to any speed of my choosing means I have exactly zero regrets. It's a E55 on a 54 plate and is currently costing me a fking fortune, with a service and MOT still to come this month.

How about a brace of V12s?
Mercedes S600 V12 BiTurbo
A strong haggle at £6,000 ONO, mind.
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2...
But it is silver...
Or, a forum favourite;
E38 750iL
£3,695

Bit tatty, needs a new windscreen - but it does have double glazing...
The 750 looks like a great way to lose 4 grand by MOT lapse day in Sept.Mercedes S600 V12 BiTurbo

The S600 looks like a great way to lose 4 grand on in the service it’ll be due.
I would love either.

About £3k of harm to your bank balance... "Thanks for your message. The service history is complete, mercedes main dealer for half her life, then specialist independent merc workshops. I have a file full of invoices and receipts which you are welcome to look through which amount to many thousands! I think the car cost 54k new.
The alloys currently on the car have winter tyres. I have driven through heavy snow with them no problem while many other cars were abandoned! The main set came with the car and are 17" with Continental or Pirelli I think.
The vin number for checking spec is:-

Wow, that looks immaculate. Still hiding some rust somewhere though, I'm sure.W00DY said:
I've always thought the early cars lo0ok a bit dopey compared to the facelifted ones, but the red one looks a lot sleeker
I'll stick my head above the parapet and admit I agree completely - the DHP wheels and just a slightly less on-stilts look saves the LS400 for me. I'd still have one rolling on stilts, but I would never think it looked good.bolidemichael said:
