At first glance, I thought this was a Ford....
It looks a lot like the new Kuga.

I’ll suspend judgement until I see one, looks wise.
I don’t think the camo and the camera angles have done it any favours so far.

It will find sales internationally for those in the super-suv market who want something different.

When the fk will some of the yokels on here recognise that there is a MASSIVE market outside the UK for this type of vehicle ???
About the same time you realise that some people just think it looks bloody awful and are slightly disappointed at the "brand identity dilution"...perhaps

I hate to say it, because I’d love to see Aston doing well, but I think this is a lemon:

Less ostentatious than a Cullinan
Less aggressive looking than a Urus
Less sporting than a Purosangue
Pricier than a Bentayga
Not especially pretty
Not a hybrid (so outdated before it launches).

For all the engineering genius, you can’t sell a car people don’t actually want. I hope I’m wrong, but I fear they’ve missed the mark on this one.

Of course you are entitled to have an opinion on the not yet fully revealed looks, do you honestly think that AML care ?

Note: almost all publicity photos of all new cars nowadays show LHD configuration.

The UK market is tiny for this type of car in relation to the rest of the world where, believe it or not, car buyers like big radiator grilles etc.

How much business have you given Aston in the past?

Yeah, but none of that matters. At all. Two words will sell it.

I doubt anyone expects them to care as much as you appear to.

So, some photographs from off-road, some photographs from a race track, but no photos of where this vehicle will actually be used - parked very badly outside a tanning salon on the high street.

I understand why they need to do it, and indeed Lambo, Bentley , Rolls and eventually Ferrari will join the fold. But the design is just so generic and boring. Ok ok a SUV is a box on wheels, but Range Rover has a look , I was hoping for something rather more than a box with an Aston grill. I so want Aston to survive and do well, but they need to create a new design language . They are still living off of Henrik Fisker.

Mr. Fisker was the Aston Martin design chief at the time two models were launched, but name an Aston Martin which is all his own work ?

I'd rather buy a used DBS and then waste the leftover cash on holidays and women.
