The complete lack of suspension on my A3, every journey is jiggle jiggle jiggle everywhere, I've even put 16" wheels and tyres on to replace the silly 18's it came with which had improved things a little but it becoming tiresome, I'll never buy another bloody S-Line spec Audi that's for sure.

TT-RS

Everything needs a bong or beep. Put it in reverse Beep! Phone connects/disconnects to bluetooth Bong! Put the key in the ignition with the door open Bong! Low on fuel Bong!

Also the constant drone of the exhaust cruising along the motorway/ A roads.

Automatic engine cut-out when you stop. I disable mine as its a pain in the tonsils. I just wish I could get into the engine mgt system to completely disable it.

The trip computer reset doesn't work half the time. Fill up with fuel. Hold down buttons to zero the counter. Start driving and it just stays on zero!

Next time the car is started it will revert back to whatever it was on before it was reset.

Very odd and there doesn't seem be any rhyme or reason to it.

My facelift Scirocco doesn’t have actual cup holders. It has the two physical slot spaces for then but the bottom floor is just completely flat. Drinks will go in there but it doesn’t exactly inspire confidence and there’s a lot of movement. One of the spaces is much deeper than the other too. I’m not sure if the bottom comes out or if the dealer forgot to put them in but it’s baffling either way. My previous pre-facelift Scirocco had normal ones as far as I can remember.

E61 5 series touring. If you have the luggage cover in place and open the boot it lifts the cover up out of the way. Helpful....... as long as you remember to put it back down again before you set off....... which I never do! Blocks most of your rear view.

Seat Leon. Have to move the mirror selector knob to select mirror heating. Every other car I know just does this either on its own or when you turn on the heated rear screen.
I had the same problem with my old E61. Solved by removing the luggage cover and leaving it in the garage.

Worst bit on my car is the electronic dipstick. I really fail to see what was wrong with a plastic handled metal pole that told you accurately how much oil was in the sump. I appreciate it is a bit harder with a quasi-dry sump but not to the point of having no dipstick. The electronic one is well known to be st. I have a new electronic oil level sensor one to fit at the cars next service.

Alfa Giulietta - the incalcitrant electrics which (ironically) I'm told are of German origin! Mainly the central locking, which, er, doesn't from time to time.

Mine, 2017 Mustang GT, I only live 3 miles from work, yet I find myself having to fill up with fuel once a week.

Why......... Because some moron thought a 61L fuel tank was sufficient, it seems to manage about 220 Miles to a full tank.

So annoying, as I hate filling up with fuel, im sure they could have got a 100L tank in it?
Thats 2.2 mpg by my maths ?
30 miles a week ÷ 13.5 gallons
Get rid quick !

It seems to be a VAG affliction, even if it isn't an S-Line /"sport"...

According to the service delivery driver when tread gets below a certain level they do this more. I found fitting Goodyear Asy's to my Mk2 TT smoothed it out a lot and I will do the same on my Mk3 soon.

Totally useless reversing light, unlike the Mk2; opening the hatch when it's been raining = water in the boot space, just like the Mk2. About it really.

The EPB, it’s a great invention that works so well in my A3, with the auto hold etc and it comes on when you turn off the engine or open the door

The one in my insignia is awful, there’s no auto hold on the brakes, and it doesn’t come on automatically although it does go off automatically

Sometimes when you pull the button it won’t engage, and if you don’t notice the car rolls away. Which happened to me recently and nearly caused the car to roll into another parked car, and on another occasion into a portacabin.

What a stupid design, I had never had a traditional handbrake fail or fail to come on but in this car it’s a regular issue. Why couldn’t they program it to come on when you then the engine off?!
