Are these Vloggers just a scam? SOL or Shmee etc? (Vol. 3)
Discussion
There's a new episode of 'Behind The Glass' about the original group of UK YouTubers (STG, Shmee, SOL, etc), how they met and how their first few years with regular collaborations happened. Quite enjoyable for anyone who was watching them back then to reminisce and maybe learn a bit about those early days. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ej4VhmbORdo

Also worth listening to the latest Sam Moores podcast with Sam. Really interesting listen! M4SER said:
Sorry you feel duped, it was only meant to be a bit of fun for 1st April and judging by the majority of comments generated on YouTube, most seemed to enjoy the tease, especially in these strange times.
Even so, I don't want to cause upset so I've tweaked the title, which now says vid was first published on the 1st April, to let new viewers know there's a twist to the review, revealed right at the end of the video.
Thanks for watching.

I think they just didn't realise it was an April Fools when they posted this comment i.e. the April Fools worked, so no need to apologise in my view!Even so, I don't want to cause upset so I've tweaked the title, which now says vid was first published on the 1st April, to let new viewers know there's a twist to the review, revealed right at the end of the video.

It fooled me! I didn't click on it since MGBs don't do much for me, but one with some tweaks and a fruity Mazda twin-cam is very appealing!Even so, I don't want to cause upset so I've tweaked the title, which now says vid was first published on the 1st April, to let new viewers know there's a twist to the review, revealed right at the end of the video.

Really disappointed with the latest Harry’s Garage MG video ..
Seems to be totally misrepresenting the car as a a genuine MG product when it was a creation by an after market company
He states the 2 litre engine is a development of the original 1.8 .. when in fact it’s actually a Mazda engine and that a previous owner has fitted aftermarket electric windows !
The car was built by frontline engineering in Abingdon in 2014 and is a recreation
Very disappointed, expected better from Harry

I enjoyed it even though I know nothing about MG's.
Looking forward to more "how fast down the drive?" times

Harry, I enjoy both of your channels, but the farm channel has been a real surprise. I find it much more interesting than I thought I would. It’s good to see it getting decent views.Even so, I don't want to cause upset so I've tweaked the title, which now says vid was first published on the 1st April, to let new viewers know there's a twist to the review, revealed right at the end of the video.

I remember reading an article on your house some years ago and wondered if you had considered making a video on it for the channel? Who knows, a video on an eco-home could attract even more people to the channel.

Is this the same guy who runs those dubious car rental companies or am I getting names confused? I know this weirdo has filmed with TGE, and Tom looked like he was questioning his life choices.

- elderly, more vulnerable + anyone who has a child circa age 3 ... (I'm still yet to fathom what exactly they do with it but by crikey it disappears quickly in our house ...)
I got fooled by the Harry's Garage MG up until the bonnet was popped open and saw the modern cam covers. I was expecting a works-tuned Rover V8 lump.
And even then it would have been strange as wikipedia says the MGB GT didn't get the V8 until 1973, and at that point it produced a mere 137 bhp. Enough for 0-60 in a still sprightly (for the period) 7.7 seconds, but nowhere near the astonishing 5 seconds of the mythical LE.
