Why yes to Audi and Porsche but no to the other 2?
I know a guy that was employed by Jaguar to prepare their launch f-type press cars. He said they basically took the suspension apart and started again. The geometry to press reported on was very different to what the public got in his opinion. I dare say that quite normal for manufacturers to do that. I remember one of the big German magazines tested a press Golf R against a factory one and it was very different.
I've seen some of the more recent prep work at JLR and it all comes down to budget restraints. They used to do as your mate said, latterly not so much. As for BMWs, I mean specifically the M cars. Have you seen how they get driven? No amount of servicing is going to account for that kind of abuse and my mate who bought an ex-press M3 direct from auction can confirm that. Anyone remember the Jaguar that ended up on its roof at Redgate?
Steve Sutcliffe was cool as a cucumber before, during and after.

Have always remembered reading about it at the time. Sutcliffe's attitude was amazing. Seem to remember that the photographer in the back seat was slightly injured. Where is Sutcliffe now? At that time he was Harris's boss, more recently he was making very good videos himself. He had great drift skills before Harris.Steve Sutcliffe was cool as a cucumber before, during and after.

Must admit that I overlooked your post as the name didn’t mean anything, but I see from the latest Harry’s Garage video that Iain is the one working on his Espada.I’ve got to say that his video was very accomplished. You certainly wouldn’t think that this was his first attempt at YouTube. I’m looking forward to future episodes.
