The GTR is a fairly large lump by modern standards, so 700-800hp I suspect is fairly manageable - especially with AWD.
But I've driven a 600hp Evo X, and that was a pretty horrible experience - I can imagine a 1600hp GTR is going to be very similar, just faster
I think he said they are 1700kg so yes, quite heavy. This company seems to knock out 1200+ bhp builds for fun, Ricky's car should be reasonably reliable if he takes Jurgen's advice to the letter. But I've driven a 600hp Evo X, and that was a pretty horrible experience - I can imagine a 1600hp GTR is going to be very similar, just faster

I think it’s fair to say that Freddy thinks the problem lies with his bank, and that may well be the case. All he really knows is that the money has left his account.
The supplier is saying that they haven’t received it. He’s got no reason to doubt them having placed a previous order with them for around $30k where he did receive the items.
That's precisely how a lot of scams go down. Pay the first time to gain trust, then fk them the second or third time, always for a bigger amount. The supplier is saying that they haven’t received it. He’s got no reason to doubt them having placed a previous order with them for around $30k where he did receive the items.

Who the hell is turning up to those AdamCnumbers "drive-by car shows" so that they can look like a cock as some greasy posh boy plays "say what you see". Some nice cars from the bit I saw too (and some utter ste).
Thanks for the recommendation Youtube.
I drove past a couple of times as it’s the main road between Dorking and Leatherhead...Thanks for the recommendation Youtube.

One of his videos popped up in my recommended, ended up wasting a couple of hours watching them. Strangely addictive. Thanks for the recommendation Youtube.
He knows his stuff, ID'd pretty much every car that passes. Some complete and utter bell ends though, doing burnouts or trying to drive fast when it's obvious they have zero ability to drive a car. And don't get me started on pops and bangs on Fiestas and folk just holding the car on the rev limiter...
Quite enjoyable videos though.

Tim,
When you get a second I’d love to know a little more about your Mansory videos.
Do they do well in terms of views - ie is there a market for it Maybe amongst younger viewers who love the wild nature ?
Or are you going with the vids because you like the mods they have done?
Obviously never seen the cars up close but the workmanship looks good but the style certainly doesn’t do it for me.
They do exceptionally well; both very high views and high engagement/watch time. However, this is quite predictable because the subjects are very on theme to my usual content (high performance/supercars and tuning) but are hugely polarising and split opinions to the ultimate degree. As to the viewers there is a very small shift to a younger audience but not hugely; maybe a 2.5% shift from over 35s to under 35s.When you get a second I’d love to know a little more about your Mansory videos.

I generally film what I believe will be successful as content, not what I necessarily like and have been visiting Mansory once or twice a year for 6-7 years now. Sometimes I do like their projects, sometimes I think they are way over the top, but I also know a good number of their customers and know why they like to buy the products that they buy.
What you have to remember is that cars like Le MANSORY and the Cabrera are created to get attention, to stand out and be noticed, and they do it in a way very few others manage to achieve. Don't forget like with many brands for every 1 Le MANSORY that is made, I wouldn't even be able to count the number of G63s, Bentaygas and Urus' that go through their doors; the halo product philosophy as well at play.
Their carbon fibre work is very high quality, innovative and unique, and behind the scenes they are responsible for carbon parts you see in many other places as a result. It's fun going to visit as well because they really like what they do and it's great to be there and talk with the team about the cars.

Are you allowed to share any info on the carbon work they do for others as an example ?
And yeah maybe I think too literally about it all but what is that saying “there’s no such thing as bad publicity”
Or something to that extent...

I know a while ago they did the Lotus Evora GTE and it was absolutely top notch quality. Are you allowed to share any info on the carbon work they do for others as an example ?

I've always been very impressed with Mansory quality, they look incredible from about 20cm away, just not so great from 3m.

Is that the one Lotus built for one of their racing drivers, but it ended up being sold? You can actually see the weave of the carbon on the body?I've always been very impressed with Mansory quality, they look incredible from about 20cm away, just not so great from 3m.

Exactly this.
Ian's easy going delivery and encyclopaedic knowledge make it a joy to watch.
Thanks to Harry for the introduction!

I second that, saw the intro from Harry and now watch all of Ian's too. Even if I'm not interested in the car in question I love the detail and delivery style and do genuinely learn more about engines and their workings
I listened to Sam's Behind the glass podcast today, GT2RS vs Pista. Interesting as always, great for while i'm working.
Sam has mentioned that he never bought any of his cars for 'youtube views', he just bought cars as he liked them and added that it's probably why his channel 'fell down' or isn't as popular as his colleagues.
Tony's response was "...I don't think you fell down now mate, I think you made the right decision if i'm honest, I think some of your colleagues are in the sh*t!"
Which of his colleagues are they referring to?

I assume Archie Hamilton, SOL etc... Archie Hamilton had that Range Rover SVR for all of a fortnight or a month before flogging it to a dealer in Bournemouth... perhaps it wasn't his viewers' cup of tea. It must be very expensive to keep switching cars to please a fickle audience. SOL, keen to keep up with the others, bought an M2 Competition, compared to Archie Hamilton's M8 Competition. With Drive The World, the focus was more on the road trip / holiday than the specific car. Sam has never done the usual churn or build up to what's coming next to the garage. With the inevitable economic downturn, these cars may become a millstone around the necks of some of these "colleagues" in the near future...
