Great advert for the kia though .
Brilliant, every man has been in the same position, its like playing chess with pigeons...
Him - what do you think of the raised seating position

Her - i don't like it , i'm sitting on the floor

I wonder if it's all genuine though ?

There were bits where she was grinning at the camera like she was playing her role in the video .

She totally had him re what's the point of having a screen with netflix which you can only watched parked up.
Surely it can't be genuine (although I fear it probably is) as how could he stay with someone who is so annoying?!

She cranks the seat right up to the maximum height and then complains her head is too close to the roof... erm banghead

Also, it scares me to think of the potential accerleration she's got under her right foot combined with here awful steering wheel hold and therefore control yikes

Makes me appreciate my wife even more if this is real biggrin

I really hope Danny is OK, he has said before that he has struggled/found the pressures of constantly producing content and the never-ending critique of YouTube overwhelming (or words along those lines). I for one love his genuine delivery style, but ultimately its health before Youtube. Hopefully he is simply taking some time out.
Yeah, I'm sure it's nothing sinister, he's probably just had enough for a bit.
Was it Danny who posted that he found the positive attention unnerving because he was a just a normal person with the usual fallibilities? I’m paraphrasing, but somebody posted that a while ago. It always struck me as an extremely perceptive thing to say.

I can understand not wanting to pay attention to all of the negative comments, particularly those that get personal, but equally, if you take all of the praise on board, it could lead to an inflated sense of your own self-importance.

Yes that was Danny. I remember when he had a mate of his on the channel a few years ago, there was a lot of abuse aimed at his mate and he wasn't very happy about that. Must be a double edged sword really.

I wouldn't worry about Danny with all socials going, people need a time out. He is a member of this forum and will no doubt see the comments. Regardless hope he is well and hopefully returns in the future.

Hopefully see him in October at the Ring

Aye, hope he's all good - one of the very few car-based youtubers I'd have a beer with.

Any one follow the boqer123 channel? I use to follow for the bmx content but quite a heavy switch to cars now
I do, although I no longer ride BMX. I was surprised when he sold his 260Z though. It could have been an epic track car and way cooler than the Seat. The welded diff in the 36 makes me cringe though.

He seems like a really nice guy. He invited me up to the last car show but I couldn't make it. Hope to go next time.

If you like older stuff, Number27 has some really enjoyable content. Look back and there are some awesome air cooled 911 vids. The owner is a bit 'hipster' but the RSR is just to die for.

I think he just realised that the 260Z was never going to be finished, you could almost see the relief in his face as he watched it drive away on the trailer. What he has done to the E36 makes me cringe, but this is why any remaining unmolested decent cars are going to be worth big money in a few years.

Overall I like his video's, the whole Facture Projects drama was interesting to watch!

Good advert and clever marketing in fairness and I enjoyed sinister hoody Shmee quite a lot!

Anyone else seen Robert Mitchell’s 620R ‘collection video’

That’s the way to do it, straight into what it was built for

Yeah that was a belter, off the trailer, helmet and go pro stuck in and straight out on the track!

Clearly not worried about 'running it in' as that was a fairly brisk lap for an out of the box car. smile

Is running in essential on a car that is designed for track driving?

I’m guessing the engine is already good to go by McLaren, especially in this racing type variant, it’s more brake pads/ tyres to ‘bed in’. But then fresh rubber is good straight out the box so to speak.

I love how he says that wasn’t a crazy lap and took it gently, looked pretty quick to me
