That SV video was great and almost frustratingly nearly perfect for me. Be nice if the bedroom wall poster bit would have been the final reveal pan-out... gets out, shuts door, walks out of shot, camera pans out to reveal poster & bedroom & alarm goes off etc.

Was great all the same though and good idea.

Paying thousands and even tens of thousands for carbon fibre trim packages, well, as Forrest Gump said, “stupid is as stupid does.”

I find it more annoying this latest trend to call stuff “forged carbon.” Forged carbon, is diamond, you divots. Random chopped up off cuts lobbed together with a load of resin is just carbon flavoured papier-mâché.
Agree with this, and the stuff they call forged carbon to me just looks plain awful. I like the gloss normal carbon, but I wouldn't pay loads of money just for cosmetics
It'll be carbon fibre wheels next. I know some cars can option them and I'm sure the technology will have moved on but the cost will be eye watering I'm sure. That said, I guess manufacturers are looking to redress the extra weight that 21st century regulations have brought about. Mind you, didn't Gordon Murray say that carbon wheels brought their own problems? Personally I think lightweight cars with modest power can be quick and fun enough without the current pissing contest for huge power and exotic materials. It's all subjective though I guess. smile I'd have this over any hyper car... (Admittedly there's some carbon though! laugh )

Not strictly YouTube but interesting to see muc.collector on Insta, one of the biggest McLaren collectors and proponents around (he has 3 Sennas fgs!) cancel every single McLaren he has on order (Elva, 765LT etc) as he's finally had enough. They're in trouble.

When you consider that (fantastic) video was created by just two people, and it ends up edited and crafted so well, it makes a lot of TV grade stuff look embarrassing.

The editing, the interesting camera shots, just the creativity - Henry and Charlie B. Rose are a phenomenal team.

Thanks for using the car Peter, you have done well at life!
That's very kind, made a few right decisions (and many many wrong) to get me there. Its been an adventure so far!

Both very talented guys and the bedroom scene was amazing, Charlie really expended on the idea of using the tape player in the car which we talked about during the day of filming.

Are you suggesting that the ugly stick on "carbon fibre" trim inside a 318d series don't make it a lightweight racer?

Joking aside the carbon fibre effect trim pieces (exterior as well as interior) so beloved by teenage boys and middle aged tossers has been going on for so long it's past funny, but given the industries refusal to get rid of the laughingly titled "piano black" glossy plastic despite everyone hating it I suspect it will continue for ages. "Piano Black" ffs, even that toy Sega piano isn't built of plastic that awful.

Interesting, I would like to know more.

The fake carbon looks ok if it is done properly and it on a spoiler or splitter but anything more looks naff, like Paul/SOL tried to put on his car!

I’ve just seen this post today on a Pista forum site. If true, very disappointing TGE continues to post videos with his Pista, when he sold it 1 month ago...!!!

Wow, all the way to Malaysia to find someone visually impaired enough to buy it. Not bad.

He has mentioned he may be selling it, but I am sure he has said this in some recent videos, I don't know how long it takes to ship a car via ship to Malaysia but SAM/STG took about a month to Australia so three weeks at least to Malaysia surely and it would have taken a week or two to sort it all out as well in the current situation maybe longer with all the paperwork.

I am more disappointed then anything, saying he is thinking or letting the Pista go when it has already gone.

He had a video on 1st Oct with the Pista and yes it could have been filmed a while ago and 16th Sept in the 911 Turbo S video I am sure he mentions the car is better to keep than the Pista.

I feel let down by Tom just as he was turning everything around and his content was getting better.

Maybe it’s all filmed and released out of sync. You know like he has said numerous times?

Being genuinely upset he sold it and didn’t tell you immediately? Holy crap..

No, I get that stuff is out of sync but if he has sold the car he should say just a Insta/Tweet waving at the car saying video coming soon is what I mean, he can do what he wants when he wants but does he want people to find out stuff like this from other randoms instead of himself.

Not being funny, but who was really expecting him to run it past you before he sold his Pista? laugh

Just watched Dan's latest video from the N'ring. Great to see 2 friends having fun in attainable cars where they clearly trust in each others ability behind the wheel. The edit with the van was a genuine LOL too.

Good explanation from TGE. Got made an offer and took it. Probably the best.

Must be annoying for him getting sent screenshots of places, I can’t see why he’s got a particular bee in his bonnet about this place though, last 2 pages haven’t really been harsh on him for selling the Pista have they??

What are you on about?

He has said one thing and done another that is the point I am making, just when he was becoming trustworthy this happens.

If you were a player in the Youtuber community wouldn't you want to be the one to tell your viewers about something instead of a rando on-line?

It’s actually embarrassing.

I’m really surprised how emotionally invested people get into some of these guys, find it all a bit odd to be honest!
