There are thousands of flats in London alone, with an underground car park and limited storage space in the flat. If you’ve got a nice car (which a huge number do) they’re perfect for keeping car covers, winter wheels, cleaning stuff, that sorta thing. Is it a million dollar idea? Who knows! At £1300 for a plain one or £2300 for a wrapped one it’s certainly gonna make some money if he sells some!

Absolutely, it seems absurd at the outset but I know a lot of people with limited storage in their flats who would love the extra space even if it's to store boxes or empty suitcases that otherwise cause annoyance.I wouldn’t bet against it!
On the continent it's pretty standard that apartment buildings have cellars in the basement for this kind of thing but it never seems to have caught on in London.
The storij.co.uk is quite a good idea, but the pricing seems rather ‘punchy’. Then again if it’s aimed at super car owners, then maybe the premium is all part of the selling point.
I wonder if you can patent a box on stilts? If not I imagine it won’t be too long until someone undercuts them with cheaper versions for everyday joes, or people just fashion their own.

I think it’s a good move for his channel. It should also be a good fit with all of the races being live-streamed on YouTube.
I hope he makes the most of the opportunity and puts some thought into the type of content he wants to produce. Petrol Ped did a good racing series last year which I felt went into far more depth than I’d seen on other channels.

He says his reason to sell is based on all the negativity from his followers, on his choice of SVR. But if you check the likes/dislikes ratio of the SVR reveal / first drive video, it’s 12% dislikes. No more than the two unrelated videos preceding that reveal video, also 12%. If there was negativity, it wasn’t reflected in the number of dislikes.
