I think Sam does well with his videos, I rarely hear the term 'guys' from them, though the made-up words like the Schquad and Shmeemobile drive me nuts nuts HubNut is a refreshing diversion from the minted West London types wink
Wait until he opens the 'Shmuseum' biggrin
It'll be awesome, it'll only have Mercedes and McLaren on display.

Joe does make me chuckle when he goes in on things, his love of the BMW marketing campaigns was hilarious, and now this

Seems to be in good spirits with Kinsey at his bedside. Get well soon.

Horsey the creep who claims to be an adult but seemingly obsesses over the worst YouTubers, and their sisters, like a lonely, spotty teen would.

No idea why he posts this crap or feels the need to post about scum like Vitaly in a thread about CAR vloggers.

Depressing that really useful and interesting contributers like Shmee have been forced out the thread yet idiots like horsey are still here spamming Lana rubbish.

Surely shmee flounced off because he was proven wrong ?

He claimed he wasn't a reviewer and had never made a review video , trouble was a quick search on his channel turned up his self titled review videos .

Not really, someone related to the Shmee 150 business said something they probably should not have said and Tim basically gets the PH rabble treatment.

It is no surprise that over the years many a YouTuber have withdrawn themselves from being involved here which is a shame, but there are clearly a number of people who take enjoyment in putting people down / slagging them off just because the content they produce is not to their liking and no doubt take great pride telling their one friend all about how they chased Shmee off an increasingly less relevant Internet forum.

Have to admit I found this thread a lot more interesting with input from Tim, Jay and even Beefy who gave an insight of how stuff worked behind the camera.

I have to ask again.

How does "DMO" get away with driving like a man possessed on the road?

My guess is he doesn't care about being caught.

Really like the Mighty Car Mods S2 Exige series, curious to see where they go with the mods

https://youtu.be/RUGiOq3itGo

Good to see somewhat a big increase in Lotus content on YouTube recently since JayEmm got rid of his one. Especially the S2 Elise/Exige seems to be finding a lot of new fans almost a decade after production ceased. I like to think I played a (tiny, tiny) role in that hehe

The visceral nature of a Lotus has never appealed more than it has now, imo.

MCM`s Lotus video done more to advertise the brand for me than anything else, I might or might not daydream about the car now.

I agree that there’s no need for name-calling or insults, but surely this was more about scrutiny? It seems to me that a forum is the right place to scrutinize things.

Marc’s comments about JWW were scrutiny. As was Tim’s recent piece about SSC. Going further back, he questioned Matt Farrah’s motives for not attending the trip to Saudi Arabia. Was that not scrutiny?

He contributed a lot to this thread and I hope he returns, but if you remove scrutiny, then this just becomes a public relations exercise.

Agreed, certainly got people talking about the brand a bit more from what I've seen.

In the JDM shed world "MCM-Tax" is apparently a real thing, Mighty Car Mods have generated a fair bit of influence with car and product choices, it's great for the more "affordable" end of the car tuning scene.

I hope they have bigger plans for the Exige, just because I think it deserves more airtime... but honestly there's probably not more they want to do with it unless SSC line them up with one of their TVS conversions to go for big power.

I do. In a week where I discover ball manicuring is a thing, I have no shame in admitting to being one of MV’s 10m subs. Most here don't have to ask why one watches MV. Get back to your ball manicuring.

You too. Shmee forced himself into corner. How is Vitally scum? Shmee, family money, 2m subs, wasn’t the one breaking the SSC story. Vitally came from no where, 12m subs, and he does car stuff, as does MV. But just go around calling people idiots.

I bought my old one for £16200 cry

That was with a Katana supercharger kit fitted (240bhp), Ohlins and various other mods. Car was mint too and only things to attend to were a crack in the windscreen (done through insurance) and the exhaust had seen better days. Gutting.

I have to say that I couldn't face paying mid to late 20's for an S2 when an S3 can be had for £10k more.
