The storij.co.uk is quite a good idea, but the pricing seems rather ‘punchy’. Then again if it’s aimed at super car owners, then maybe the premium is all part of the selling point.
I wonder if you can patent a box on stilts? If not I imagine it won’t be too long until someone undercuts them with cheaper versions for everyday joes, or people just fashion their own.

There are thousands of flats in London alone, with an underground car park and limited storage space in the flat. If you’ve got a nice car (which a huge number do) they’re perfect for keeping car covers, winter wheels, cleaning stuff, that sorta thing.
I wouldn’t bet against it!
How much commission are you on?I wouldn’t bet against it!

Absolutely, it seems absurd at the outset but I know a lot of people with limited storage in their flats who would love the extra space even if it's to store boxes or empty suitcases that otherwise cause annoyance.
On the continent it's pretty standard that apartment buildings have cellars in the basement for this kind of thing but it never seems to have caught on in London.
The problem is that most management companies will tell you to remove it straight away. A massive shame as my flat in Spain has a small storage area attached to the parking space and it's incredibly useful! On the continent it's pretty standard that apartment buildings have cellars in the basement for this kind of thing but it never seems to have caught on in London.

I assumed it would be that other weird northern millennial who swore a lot about car YouTubers, I think he was on PH at one point. But nope, this is another weird northern millennial swearing about YouTubers! Ace. Whatever happened to that other guy?
That Martini guy. He did some good videos mainly sticks to crypto now. Always struggled for views probably due to the excessive swearing. No need for it and turns it into something you can't watch with thre kids about which does limit things for many. Northerners are a bit odd around success/ money. If you are born into it you're ok but make your own and things get weird.

I'm afraid that I lost any respect I had for Adam Ivell. His video with Lee Lockwood was unnecessary. On top of the clickbait now it's about time he did something else.
I just watched it based on this - I'm not sure we watched the same video... What made you lose respect for him?fridaypassion said:

TGE's idea is a good one. I think he will sell a few until B&Q rip it off and sell them for £200 each.
It's not a new idea, google 'over bonnet garage storage' and you'll find numerous companies offering them.I supposed the difference is that TGE knows people who are rich/have supercars/have London garages and will spend the money with him rather than others especially with the wrapping etc.
I'm sure he'll make some money on it, can't see it making millions but he's in the right place to flog them to other rich folk!

Re. Archie / SVR:
He says his reason to sell is based on all the negativity from his followers, on his choice of SVR. But if you check the likes/dislikes ratio of the SVR reveal / first drive video, it’s 12% dislikes. No more than the two unrelated videos preceding that reveal video, also 12%. If there was negativity, it wasn’t reflected in the number of dislikes.
Or just the fact that he can barely afford it He says his reason to sell is based on all the negativity from his followers, on his choice of SVR. To produce a quality version would be about £350. I know. If you sold it to a retailer you're looking at £500 and they typically will add 220% VAT incl so £1,100 is about right. My point is the design of the example on this board is not good imo.Horsey McHorseface said:

Damn, some serious stuff going on for MrJWW.
Interested to see where this takes his channel. Bicester Heritage is a truly awesome place - their Sunday Scrambles are hands down the best car meets I’ve ever been to - Must say I was getting a little bored of JWW vids, but will definitely be watching to see where this goesAJB1971 said:

PS I know not this post. But there does seem to be a tendency on PH to criticise businesses/individuals for buying a product and then re-selling at a mark-up. That is kind of how retailing works....
