Aside of being ugly, this will be an NVH nightmare. Wind noise from those wacky edges will be a real issue.

No wonder Tesla share price took a plunge.

Its nearly 2020, so I think cars should look like this based on the fact its how the future was presented to me in 1986.

At least is's not another amorphous bland blob, like their car range. I'm not personally sold on it, but at least it's different!

And they might have sorted out their disastrous build quality issues out by the time it's launched, too.

Childish and a bit pathetic.
Would look at home in UFO.

Will stick with the adults when it comes to vehicle manufacture.

From certain angles (no pun intended) the rear sort of works in a kind of futuristic personnel carrier sort of way, and the idea of something that large gathering speed in such an effortless manner is faintly terrifying, but I suppose as was mentioned above, this is what we were all told cars would be by 2020 back in the 80s...

You know what it actually needs? 6 wheels. I think if it had 6 wheels, it'd work hehe

Tesla won't be able to build them fast enough.
Yeah, but the Ford appeals to the traditionalists in the Mid West/Deep South who want something that looks exactly like the F-150. The Tesla will be viewed as ‘queer’ and ‘for then weirdo’s in LA’ by the core pickup truck market that Musk is trying to sell to.

To put it into perspective 450,000 people in the US bought an F-150 this year....I think it’s fair to say none of them have an issue with how it looks, no matter what we think.

That is mahoosive! Can't wait to see these jostling for space outside of little Jocasta's Montessori school or the parent with child bay at Morrisons.
Are there any indications of dimensions?

So its a full size 4 seater cab.. with plenty of room, and in the live event a guy drives a quad into the rear bed.. no overhang.

That must be massive and in no way intended for the UK.

Agreed. Clearly designed with Mars in mind, not Margate.

Except the Ford has replaceable soft plastic bits on all of the corners and edges, so when you load it with something that hangs over the sides of the load bay, you don't wreck your paintwork, and when some idiot in the yard catches a post with it, you can either pop the damage out or get a new part. The Ford doesn't have to look good, it has to look practical. For every person who buys a new one, you'll find someone who will tell you their last one kept on going until it was hit by a direct meteor strike.

That's why you spend 70 grand on it, not because it looks pretty.

What will the range going to be like at full towing capacity?

From what I understand people are struggling to hit the estimated range in most EV’s with one passenger and losing as much as 50% to run the heater in the winter.

How far will you get towing a car trailer etc?

I really hope this comes to market. It would egg on car companies to take more engineering/styling risks.
