I'll take your word on the sales front. But cars less than a year old are on offer from dealers for about £75k under list. That's not good....
In fairness to Aston, isn’t that called depreciation? A quick look at Aventadors shows a similar drop for example. Also in fairness to Aston, the naff sun visor font I believe is the exact same naff font used on Concorde. Though I would argue the designer’s job is to ensure such things are implemented tastefully.

Seems a touch desperate given there is no tangible link between the two. It's like a 1980s special edition; pick a colour and throw some stickers at it.
But they are desperate. Sales far lower than expected and they've pretty much hinged their survival on the DBX.I just think it's a little late on cashing in on the "Sports Car Manufacturer does SUV!" money train. If they could smash out a Taycan (pretty sure Mercedes could help out with the power train etc) rival I think it would keep them more relevant.

They don't need Mercedes help with EV powertrains though. Lagonda, in the same building as where DBX is being produced, will spearhead the EV side of the company, with involvement from Williams Advanced Technologies. Hybrid tech will find its way into the regular, traditional cars relatively quickly.I just think it's a little late on cashing in on the "Sports Car Manufacturer does SUV!" money train. There's a lot of good things happening at the company, and DBX was engineered as soon as they were able to produce it (trying to do that 10 years ago was a physical impossibility). Remember that in comparative terms, Aston Martin's tiny compared to the backing that Bentley and Lamborghini have from VW (including use of its parts bin). From concept to market in 4 years is good going, especially for such a small company (bear in mind Benteyga took 3 years and the Urus about 5 years, both of which use an Audi A4 platform rather than a bespoke one like the DBX).
If Aston's late to the super sport SUV party, surely Ferrari should give up on the Purosangue, if that's not due until 2022?

With as many seats as possible, the 7 Seat DBx Ryanair edition. Including a time lock, if you return to your car after a preset time the car won't open and will leave without you.
With no cup-holders and you have to get your baggage in the glove-box, it won't go in the boot for the advertised price.Mr-B said:

Definitely!
I'm going to stick my head above the parapet and admit I quite like it - white with the cool accents really suit that shape. Not worth what they'll be asking of course...

Ah yes '16 years', that well known anniversary milestone.
Also, how long exactly is a long runway?
Filton was one of the longest runways, I think 2.2 miles, but I am sure Eric can correct me.Also, how long exactly is a long runway?
Aerospace Bristol is a cracking day out if any one fancies it, Concorde is only a 'small' bit of the display.
To the casual observer oblivious to the Concorde link, it looks like a lottery winner’s homage to their favourite childhood brand of toothpaste.
And what’s the deal with this CEO fella’s zeal for issuing signed certificates - eg, for the first batch of DBXs, Vantages and this ’Signal 2’ car, etc? Have I missed something, is he also some sort of celeb, a former Le Mans winner or a Nobel prize winner? Or just another egotistical ‘powerfully-built executive’?
