Does the nose dip for parking? And does the whole car get longer at max speed?

Apologies if I have not done my homework, but are we saying that the basic maths here is that you can buy a DBS with less than 1,000 miles for £ 200 k and this version is £320k?

It's a damn sight better tribute to 50 years of Concorde than the tossers at BA have managed, frankly.

If this is such a 'British icon' car tribute why is it LHD in the promotion pictures?
It’s the Air France édition, which can also be had with flames down the side as an extra special ‘Q’ option.

I knew that'd be coming at some point!

No appreciation for how incredible Concorde still looks?
Yes, a simple, elegant and sharp design considering how long ago it was conceived. It has more in common with the previous DB9/Vantage design in that respect.

Sorry, but 300+ grand buys some serious stuff.

Aston Martin would love to be in the Ferrari league, but they ain't.

Tina Turner is 80 today, maybe they could have a tie up.

The Aston Martin DBHasbeen: glory days back in the sixties and seventies, resurgence in the eighties and nineties but now best fondly remembered for what they used to be. fking Concorde, for Christs sake. laughrolleyes

That comes with Continental tyres.

I read the article thinking it didn't sound promising but, actually, I don't think that looks too bad in the pics.

As said, doesn't seem worth paying a premium for though.

At risk of being moderated off, could they not provide this car with its own stewardess and a three year complimentary 'service package'?

A Bullitt Mustang, okay I get the connection. But what is the connection between Aston and Concorde? That makes it pointless imho.

Still looks good though.

A great looking dealer special, but the additions cannot make it that expensive. Aston-Martin have their pricing all wrong here in the UK.

Here’s a desperate marketing department trying to shift a few cars to make a few more quid! Are Aston that desperate to attempt a limited edition vehicle to an aircraft that was grounded 16 years ago? I really can’t see the link.... or should we ask the designer, Mr Austin Powers?

Finally, could this be the start of a long goodbye to an Aston model that has graced the roads for many years and thus will soon (like Concorde) be grounded?

Firstly, I don't think this is Aston per-se - more like a local dealer trying to:-

(1) ingratiate themselves to AM
(2) trying to replicate the Red Arrows (which I think hit the mark and every one after will be just a little bit more meh than the previous)
(3) create some mad rush to sell some extra cars and
(4) make their end of year numbers

As said Simon did a great job on the Red Arrows - but all of these specials is beginning to remind me of British Leyland/Rover/MG

Personally, I think this one looks rather ordinary. I wonder how long before we see a DBX with some sort of aeronautical special theme cry

When I searched how many limited edition Minis (as they always had a load of them going on) I found this just to highlight the problem at least in my eyes:

The AM specials list:

Wouldn't the new V8 Vantage be better suited to this?

You know, because it has a crooked nose like Concorde?

I'm going to stick my head above the parapet and admit I quite like it - white with the cool accents really suit that shape. Not worth what they'll be asking of course...
£321,350 eek
Unfortunately for AM shareholders, the £350 is the profit....

I’ll openly admit I’m not in the market for this or any other AM ‘cept maybe an old DB9 coupe on budget. It seems no anniversary is sacrosanct so I’m looking forward to the 50 year celebration model of the IOW Festival, The Beatles disband edition, the Aswan Dam special, 18’s get the vote Volante, The 747 Virage, Thalidomide damages Vanguish, Bridge Over Troubled Waters Bulldog etc etc

Doesn't £100k normally buy you more than a few stickers?

Buy a normal one, give £10k to charity, spend £1k on your own stickers.
How else are you going to put the Con back into Concorde...?

Yea definitely not in the same league, AMs don't come with switchgears that start melting after 5 years of use or plastic bits unashamedly scattered around the dash or the level of drivetrain dependability beffiting a race engine... Oh yes, Ferraris are race bred so they have a point I guess.
