I refuse to believe that that is an actual car name without proof ...

Have we had the Honda Life Dunk or the Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear?

Second one sounds like something the people who’ve given the names to the cars were on.

What are the chances, but I was at a local event with a car show last month and someone had a Dodge Dart "Hang Ten" there.

I think you pale, pimply keyboard wraiths need to look up what groovy means.

Groovy: Slang. highly stimulating or attractive; excellent:
groovy music; a groovy car.

On a sword theme, there was a Cutlass model I think.

But I'll say Dodge Charger wins, with Austin Ambassador as a runner up.

What ? Ambassador is a great name, and not a terrible car, I mean it's John Shuttleworth's favoured mode of transport.

The Chinese have the Japs on the ropes in the stupid car names game:

  • Great Wall Wingle

  • Geely Rural Nanny

But the Japs obviously like their toilet references:

  • Isuzu Light Dump

Not to be outdone by the

  • Mazda Titan Dump

And obviously the

  • Daihatsu Scat

But let's not forget that whilst the American market had their Chargers and Mustangs, the Koreans were fighting back with the mighty Hyundai Pony and Pony X2! laugh
