The 5 series in LLFs video this week with the 2JZ engine in it, the guy driving it shoudnt have a licence jsut for his "lean back" in the seat driving position.
And no seat belt.
Clearly he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Probably thinks he's some sort of invincible hero.
Don't worry, seeing what LLF is like and the other guy with him, it won't be long before they are embedded in a tree somewhere, there's only so far you can test your luck like that before it bites you.

Hopefully the boys in blue are investigating and I'd imagine if the video is missing that would tell its own story.

Very lucky to come out of that alive. Only a few years ago that would have been a fatality.

Apparently its quite nice on the "Frottle"

Did quite like the car though despite the pair of them trying to out street talk each other.

I very nearly got into this but decided against it for all the points mentioned in this thread. I have a youtube channel and after 'reviewing' a few of my friends cars, I put the feelers out for reviewing subscribers cars. My inbox was flooded with mostly good cars, but some real tasty stuff that I definitely did want to drive, but ultimately scrapped the idea. I had people from all over the country willing to drive to my location to make these videos. People seem to really want to see their cars/themselves on YouTube. Few reasons I went against it:

  • driving strangers cars, putting trust in people who ultimately just want you to give them 5 minutes of fame
  • it's bloody impossible to make an interesting video on the road without some speed, and capturing that in a lawful way is impossible
  • it's a cesspit on YouTube, and the way to be successful is to play up to that. Loud exhausts, LOUD TITLES, and emojis. Clickbait is required.
  • the first point, emphasised again. I just didn't think the stranger who desperately wants his car on YouTube was the guy I wanted to spend time with
I've had a few videos online that have been removed due to some worry about the driving that was on show. What happened to Joe Achilles is pretty wild, so that cemented my views. I think it's only a matter of time until we see some sort of police operation. It would not be difficult at all to screen scrape these public videos and it's naive to think the police forces don't have the technology or motion to conduct this. I can only imagine they are building cases...well that's what I did imagine so hence loads of mine went. Once they're public though, you lose them to the internet. There could be copies of all my videos sat waiting for reprimand, to be brought to light if I ended up doing something really stupid, such as having a crash whilst recording a video.

Also lol @ 'the car lost control' biggrin

Worst of the LLF videos I've seen was of the racing driver in an M240 with 650bhp ish (not on race fuel map innit), basically advertising his business etc., but carrying that level of speed on unsighted corners (because he knows the roads) was unbelievably dumb, and yes, car control innit bruv, but if you're coming that far unstuck and spearing across lanes it doesn't matter about your car control if there's a car coming the other way.

It was at least nice that it clearly scared the crap out of the host too.

Yes in the majority they speak 'differently' but it's just different accents / backgrounds, I find it interesting to see the work that's gone in to cars from 'scenes' that I'm not involved in, even if it is just "stage 2 bruv" or whatever, interesting to hear people's opinions.

The 700+bhp RS3 was an impressive example of how modern cars are largely boring no matter what you do, we're talking a 9 second 1/4 mile at 150 and they both agree it doesn't feel particularly exciting as it just relentlessly fks off with no drama. Stick them in a 400bhp death trap with no traction and suddenly it feels like a missile hehe

As above though, absolutely remarkable this doesn't happen constantly given the kind of knuckle dragging mouth breathers you see in really rather powerful cars who are interested in attention above all else, but then realistically loads of people drive about like this all the time and there's still only 2,000 deaths or so a year in the UK,

This ^^^ x10

As little as 10 years ago that would have been death by dangerous driving........ Even today, judging from the damage which is actually relatively "spread" down the side of the car, they got lucky.......

How the hell do the vloggers get insurance? A cursory Google of their name would lead to all the irresponsible driving on the road, they might get away with tickets blanking out faces and plates etc but surely the insurers would run a mile.

Either they declare themselves a Moto journalists and the insurers or brokers do a crap job at due diligence, or I suspect they are uninsured masquerading as motor traders.

At a guess.... they don't. I suppose they think their own insurance will cover them TPFT.

Yeah, even if they did have TPFT cover though the job journalist is a big no no for mainstream insurers. Especially a motoring journalist, at least it was.

Ive seen the M240 one too, and hes well out of shape at one stage and you can see the look on his face that he wasnt expecting.

There is some very shocking driving on all of the vloggers out there.

But not one of them seems worried that there might be a knock at the door coming.

The 2JZ video is funny to watch though with his lean back seat and constant "man"

LLF is going to crash HARD when it does happen. It will happen too eventually. He seems a nice fella, yes he talks very differently from most of us but I have friends that talk like that too. They just grew up in different areas with different ways of saying things. It is "chavvy" it is "council estate" but the way he talks or his pronunciation of words will not matter when he or the owner of the car crash head on into someone. It's all about the standard of driving.

I just saw that video now. Yeah, I've made the mistake of crashing in a land rover defender without a seatbelt (I was in the back, but ended up swinging around and cracking the windscreen with my head), and would never dream of making that mistake again or in any other car. I'm guessing he's not crashed a car before. I didn't think there were seatbelts at the back, but turns out they were stuck under the bench at the rear.

Those sort of situations with cameras, high powered car, wanting to look cool and show off to your mates etc tends to be when things go wrong in a big way. LLF should be added to the 2020 snuff list.

But the youtuber in question wasn't driving, the owner was. If the owner stacks it with a passenger that wasn't a youtuber (Remember that guy who was filmed driving like a clown with his Girlfriend and wrote off the M2?) the masses were demanding he be strung up!

Here, the passenger was at fault? Come on chaps, there is no way anyone can make you drive beyond your comfort zone.

"Gas it!!" "Nah, I'm not going top myself for your entertainment, tell you what (stops car), thumb a lift back you tool"

Unless I'm reading this all wrong, the owner was showing off and it went horribly but thankfully not fatally wrong.
