Glad your daughter is on the mend and hopefully when all is well we might be lucky enough to see what yiuve been buying. Looking forward to a 288, F40 and F50 soon wink

Fabulous news on the 250. What are they doing to prep it and whats involved?
Thanks Pommy. They are taking out the old roll cage and putting in a newer more up to date FIA regulation one, putting in a newer refurbished 250 GTO gearbox, changing the 6 carbs for newer refurbished double headed ‘trumpet’ carbs (still Weber’s though), new brakes and suspension. Moving the battery cut off switch from the front wing to the inside, repainting the car and hand painting me some of those beautiful Scuderia shields on the wings like I’m speccing on my 812GTS. After that it’ll just be a general tune and tart up.
Oh now thats just fabulous.

Where do they pick up a 250gto gearbox as im thinking theyre not just laying around any old parts department. Isnt a recent court case all about a 250gto gearbox?!

When you say repainting, different colour?

I live on the other side of Chorleywood from where they are based so i am lucky to see some of thier cars driving around from time to time. They sponsored the Chorleywood Car Show this year & brought a couple of cars to display too which was nice of them.
