Wouldn't get too excited about the m3 as it seems bmw need about 2 years and 3 tries to get a model to drive properly these days.

Here's hoping the new focus rs has a comfort setting which allows you to actually enjoy a b road in it without surgery.

I don’t see another dominant Hamilton championship as something to look forward to - without competition, sport is nothing.

IMO from the last two decades, the best seasons have always been where there has been at least two drivers from two different teams fighting for the championship throughout the season down to the last race or two - for example, 06, 07, 08, 10, 12.

If, however, the Ferraris and Max are close in terms of performance, the racing is close and it goes down to the wire (and he wins) then fair enough - it will be something to look forward to.

Seems unlikely though. Bring on 2021!

Also, all this rubbish about the defender. Give it’s it’s a more ‘modern’ JLR it’ll be even worse than the old one. Toyota have this segment wrapped up. A g wagon if you need more plush/badge

What about some nascent brands which have been working to break through to regular production?

I'd like 2020 to reveal good things about the following:

TVR Griffith

INEOS Grenadier

Rivian

Bollinger Motors

Lucid Motors

Anybody old with a better memory than I, didn't PH run a similarly-titled article for either the Nissan GT-R or BMW M135/M2?

Not a criticism at all, but I can't have been the only one who read the thread title and thought "hmm, what have they put a 6-pot in now?"

I wouldn’t hold your breath for a new Focus RS in 2020 - I suspect details will start to emerge, but I’d be very surprised if the finished article is driving around.
My thoughts too! Not seen a thing about this car anywhere yet. Best we can hope for is a concept model/tech details I think

Meh! Mercedes have literally taking over the FIA, the rules got changed to suit them and its driver starts dominating. Things will change, enjoy it while you can. ;-)

Surely sales starting for the Corvette C8 is worth mentioning here?

Very keen to see Lewis take things as far as he can before he retires - his abilities, even now, still utterly amaze me.
But under NO circumstances is he worthy of being knighted as per Derek Bells smarmy suggestion in Octane magazine.
Driving round & round very fast & earning an obscene amount of money doing so then promptly becoming a tax exile is hardly the best way to re-pay the country that gave a home to his parents. Sorry Mr Bell with all respect to your contribution you should know better.
