Hmmm. Look at them when shorn, they are pretty lightweight. They are usually found at the top of a bank, just road-side of the fence, and often just around a bend. Sheep are often moved from pasture to pasture along these types of road. Just remember that when bombing around a corner. One thing you can guarantee, you WILL find a sheep on the road around here.
I have lived there all my life and that road is one I know like the back of my hand, so it wasn't a case of reckless riding on my part. That stretch of road seldom has sheep on it as they should all be fenced in. The only area where there are sheep free roaming is Llanberis.
