With VAT the list price is £164,400 plus OTR so the base is around £170K for starters and I'm pretty sure most will be specced to £200K plus.

I'm sure this will be a great car, but expect it will be ~£170-180k configured and delivered? Not far off a Performante Coupe with a few thousand miles...
A good point and a sensible buyer would always lean towards the Perf, not only for the performance and the looks but the depreciation curve is far more sensible too.

A performante comes in at 1.5, ton albeit slightly faster than this presumably because of the 4wd system and the bit extra power, but i would be more interested in knowing what the resale values would be on these considering didn't the Performante's take a massive hit because they churned out more than people thought?

You can buy a very low mileage Performante for around the same one of these already specced, ok it wouldn't be a new car but i guess that all depends on whether that concerns you or not, some owners i suspect collect these sort of cars as investments, would this one increase/drop or hold its value?

The Huracan's looks have certainly aged well. A nice looking car (certainly compared to McLaren's offerings) and with a simpler RWD platform than the regular EVO, and a NA V10 too. In the current supercar market, this does look a fun car to get out of shape in.

Looks like Lamborghini will make a decent profit on them too (Which will please / annoy some).

Take a Lotus Elise, slap a 600BHP V10 in the back of it and ill wager it weighs about the same. Its hardly heavy.

Less than the original Gallardo cost on launch adjusted for inflation... Seems like reasonable value to me.

Personally I think this would be my pick of the range - the RWD versions have always appealed of Lambo's.

Performantes were £215k new, so they’ve hardly crashed, relatively speaking..

Not just on this laugh

You have to accept the different people have different budgets and that there is a lot of wealth out there. People may have a collection of performance cars, from lightweight track special to heavier GTs. That really doesn't particularly mean they are any worse a driver than you either.

Wasn't that before spec? Only reason i ask that is Tony who owns Gravelwood car sales had one and he stated that he's lost about £100k on that car?

If he's lost £100k on that car, I'd love to know what 50 grands worth of options he added to the car, judging by the price he's asking for it now! :/

In fairness, having a quick look at the prices, and comparing to similar year 488's (very quiet morning here!), he's lost about 22%, whereas the same year 488 has lost about 15% (since 2018). The biggest difference here though, is there was only 1 488 that had over 3000 miles on it that I could see (I think it was just over 5000 miles, all the rest in the 3's), whereas his Huracan has more than double that at 7000 miles (and interestingly, the second cheapest Performante ALSO has over 7,000 miles on it, which definitely tells you something about the difference between Ferrari owners and Lambo owners!!). So to lose an additional 7% in value over a 488, but getting DOUBLE the mileage out of it? Seems like a good deal to me! wink

I'm going back a bit but i don't think it was originally Tony's car, it was TGE's build, and i maybe wrong but i don't think (at the time) TGE could afford it for some reason or other (stand to be corrected) and then asked if Tony wanted to buy it which at the time it was a brand new car that i assume was of limited availability and a extra premium paid for something that was hard to get hold of, which is probably why he's lost as much as he has paying over the odds in the first place??

Surely the price is £137,000 plus VAT? £137,000 minus VAT would be roughly £114 000.
