Weren’t Volvo to limit all models to 112mph from 2020 onwards?
Not Polestars. It's ok if you die in one of their most expensive models.

On the interior.

I’ve got an XC60 with the exact same interior & it is a really nice place to be apart from..... a really cheap plasticky wheel.

As the main contact point it really lets it down for me.

As above really, it’s quite a good looking car but I don’t see why you’d buy this over a 340.

Reminds me of my first car - Morris Marina - HL model no less, that had velour seats for that added touch of luxury (!)

Much prefer our hybrid Pole Star

especially when the thrusters have increments marked in megawatt.....

It's a handsome thing. Shame it's coal hole black only for the interior when this is available...

That is ace, dont know why punters are so hung up on scratchy, cold, black "leather" like in my BMW, that just looks so comfy and inviting but nobody wants anyone thinking their example isnt super premium so must have leather.

Would take that over most leather interiors, done right leather is lovely but most is just a modern version of Vinyl seats, and a lot of cloth seats are just nasty fabric as a punishment for not speccing leather.

Need some proper velour back on the options list.
I thought the original post was a joke, as that reminds me of my Granny's living room in 1976.
Each to their own. smile

Has anyone posted the Carwow drag race video yet?

As commented, it's not really 'the point' of a Volvo, especially one at 2 tons in flab. I'd be interested in what the real-world MPG is, since it would be difficult to justify the Polestar over an Audi S4 TDi if economy was your priority. Especially given the hefty price-tag!

I'm glad it exists for diversity, but struggle to understand who would choose one over the competition.

And that 340i destroys them all whilst looking very handsome (IMO)....

It's an interesting car, but I'd have an Alpina B3 Touring if I was looking to spend £60k on a smallish estate that's 'a bit different'.

Move over for a white Volvo estate...we are not in the early 90's

Most drivers on the roads today wouldn't move over for a car with real blue flashing lights...too busy trying to see the maps on their tiny active screen speedos.

2 tons is ridiculous for this size of car.
My last C350e hybrid weighed 1.8T and despite 280hp it was noticeable heavy. Especially when I switched recently for a 320d which is about 1.6T.

Love the styling, technology and the left field approach of this car. Will be fast enough in the real world where the roads are clogged with traffic but has the dual purpose where it can be super frugal on mpg and emissions and bullet fast on the very odd occasion where you can use it.
