Yes, local dealer, I asked the question and was the reply I got after they had a look. I was a little surprised too, quite low.
I didn’t think this was possible! I know we can check what’s in stock and pipeline availability, but not what’s been ordered.
I’ll have to check on Monday!

(I know I’ve taken 6 orders, mainly from PH members!)

Why would Toyota not have the facility to check what has been ordered? Access to this information is probably dependant on how high up the food chain you are, the person I was dealing with had to ask a senior manager. It would be interesting to hear what you can find out.

Mr Ferris, did you manage to find out any concrete information on your return from furlough? We need a little light at the end of this Toyota tunnel.

Sorry for the delay! It’s been flat at our work.

The only official news is: Dealer demos are due in October, customer orders are due from November onwards.
This is quite likely to change as we get closer, but from experience (16 years at Toyota) it just as likely to go back as well as forwards!

Toyota GB will obviously have the information, this is not the same as the franchise network.
The COL system does have a number of levels, I’ve not yet seen (or been allowed to see!) in my time, an area which shows orders placed outside of a CDA.

I’ll dig a bit deeper on Monday thumbup

Thanks for the prompt reply, I know of old it's hard to pinpoint dates and times. What about this GR brochure, have you heard or seen one? I contacted my supplying dealership, they know nothing about one.

Message me, and I’ll forward on the Internal spec semi-brochure to you in Monday smile

There’s no real brochure available yet, I’m sure that will be online as soon as the UK specs are 100% confirmed.

The UK is quite lucky to be able to have the GR Yaris Circuit Pack version for 'only' £33,495, it would well north of £43,000 in other European countries.

In Portugal, for example, the 'Circuit Pack' cars are known as 'Extreme Rally', and cost the equivalent of £43,850.54! eek

"Equipment level EXTREME RALLY. Price: 48,990 €
Finally, this version focuses on equipment for better performance, in addition to the GR Yaris version, it counts with: forged 18 "alloy wheels and disc brakes with red calipers, equips an LSD differential and sports suspension GR Circuit."

it could be that the regular gr becomes more valuable over time
Why do you think the Yaris will become valuable they are building 25,000 of them...is it more special than a Focus RS, Golf R, Audi S3 they don't appreciate.

Going to sound silly Ferris, but I don't know how to PM you on here. Someone will no doubt point me in the right direction...

I was interested but the arches really are a dealbreaker.

What do COL and CDA abbreviations stand for?

One drove down our high street yesterday - looked smart and not as whacky as some of the press shots - were there deals to be done if they can get one to you in 2 weeks?

Not for me - Mini seats do not agree with my back - and i"m a big fan - plus looking forward to this car being a manual for me....

Just spoke to a sales guy at Guildford(about 40 mins from me), they're non-plussed. No communication from Toyota despite it being on their website and in Autocar. Left my number for a call back.

I’m about half an hour from Guildford so tempted, but my pre-order is with the Croydon dealership (an entirely different group) so feels like it might be a bit awkward...?

Sod that, I'm trying. As it is Guildford don't seem to be aware of the preview! Spoke to them just now.

I'm being honest with them, and if they say no I'm minded just to turn up towards the end of Sunday and have a good poke around regardless smile

They had 2 in-build and unallocated, so no fussing needed. Which is amusing...as people are already trying to flip them for 10-15k above RRP....
