??? was anyone in it?
Yes - an old boy looking quite scared, can only assume he panicked, stalled it (and hence why the braking and steering was erratic?) - I didn't supply any gestures or advice even though I had to mount the kerb to avoid hitting him, also felt bad for not stopping to see wtf was going on....he did wave sorry so thought that him feeling like a tool was enough of a punishment for what looked like a genuine disaster moment!

Do any of you actually know any scaffolders?
Yes. Employ them every day of the year.

Strangely, the scaffolder was in the correct lane and not at fault.
My thoughts too. He was entitled to be going straight on.
The car should have changed lanes earlier.

Only the Audi driver can explain what they thought was happening there. That was stupid.
It's a worryingly common accident on those roundabouts (a new road was built with 3 lane roundabouts on and everyone got really confused), here's a bunch more of the same accident happening to different people

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCRC6PBR4E8 - near miss
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBGN22YBlo0 - actually this is the same accident but leaving at the dual carriageway direction
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2yH0CZQ3Bs - in the background at 20 seconds in
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wDyMEodp4M - Astra avoids the accident and looks like it's going around the roundabout again

(these aren't my clips, they're standard fare for the local paper)

Looks like some poor design if its that frequent. The cars coming round the roundabout are travelling much faster than those entering and going straight on, plus the lanes don't seem to "unwind" as you would expect them to.

@1:32 it's always the knobs with the M stripes that do this isn't it, why do they live up to the stereotype so well?!

M stripes aren't even an official thing and looks so chav.

You guys remember Chris McArthur right? Idiot who causes incidents then slams on the horn and flashes his lights. Well I just decided to look at his channel for old times sake. Anyway, he's caught somebody going the wrong way on a dual carriageway, an actual video worthy video. And it's the first time he doesn't beep his horn or flash his lights, you know the only time it could actually be justifiedbanghead .

That's pretty close to home... The Wincanton junction may not be the nicest in the world, it's a trumpet off a roundabout. But it's still pretty bcensoredy hard to get wrong!

Tbh, they probably came on at the B3081 junction instead, so would have driven down here...

Apologies if a repost, but marginally better craic than the terminally dull UK Dashcameras with slightly better editing.

5:47 I side with the cam car on this one. It didn't look like the van was waiting and there was loads of space. What do you think? https://youtu.be/Ck6mIvMXSNY?t=347

Cyclist overtakes a car that signalling that its going to turn right. Cyclist is a bellend.

Car signalling right
Cyclist in its blind spot
Looking at camera angle and assuming its on cyclists helmet (no the one on his head) he had his head down and wasn't looking where he was going

Or

car in a queue signalling that they are going into a filter lane ahead - the car in front was also signalling - and there was no right turn where she pulled out.
Cyclist in blind spot - so what do you do when you change lanes, you check your blind spot, right?
Looking at the rest of the clip, the camera is pointing down all the time.

Gets worse a bit later on - I'll overtake another car while they're overtaking a cyclist, then make out like it's their error...
