Which lane was his? He was in the left lane...the motorcyclist was in the right lane.

Which side of the left lane is the cyclist in and where are they pointing?

Why did the Kawasaki rider need to pass the cyclist?

And when cyclist changed from right to left lane, he did no checks neither. He is an idiot.

The description to that video leads me to think that Ninja boy thinks that the roads are playgrounds to play silly games on:

The SUV was no match for the Ninja? He's looking to make a point on the roads and possibly compensate for some inadequacy. I am not sure the attitude he displays in his videos or the descriptions of his videos do motorcyclists many favours. It makes me feel unproud to be a motorcyclist. I can disassociate myself from motorcyclists like him by buying a Royal Enfield Interceptor and a waxed cotton Barbour?

That he's disabled comments on his YouTube videos may also indicate he's a bit of a prat with self esteem issues.
Ha, what he was chastising the SUV for at the beginning he did to the van at the end. Whatacock.

Harley rider should have stopped and informed the Ninja rider of the error of his ways and then the Ninja rider may not have uploaded his feckwittery to YouTube?
He did, at the end of the video, was actually quite nice to see that.

1. The Cyclist passed Ninja boy on the left at a junction.
2. The Cyclist is weaving from lane to lane.

How many more warning signs does Ninja boy need to give the Cyclist a wide berth?

If the Cyclist has shown themselves to be an idiot why place yourself in danger by placing yourself beside them?

If Ninja boy hadn't done 50 mph he wouldn't have been in the vicinity of the Cyclist to have had that coming together.

39 seconds in Ninja boy's right index finger reaches for the front brake lever? Is that due to the grey and white police car going in the opposite direction?

I just hope I'm not anywhere near either of them on the road. Neither has any awareness whatsoever.

The question is not wether or not the motorcyclist sufficiently observant, but the rules of the road.

The highway code doesn't give as a rule "if a vehicle is to the edge of a lane, you must not do x, y and z..." It does however say "Don't fking change lanes wihout checking its clear you fking muppet".

The cyclist shouldn't have gone through the red light, ffs why do they do that, it was red for another 8 or 9 seconds after he went through. Red light means STOP, not STOP if you have an engine and aren't wearing Lycra.

Then the biker feels the need to catch up by accelerating fairly vigorously to 10 mph over the speed limit.

Biker goes up the inside at pace, even if the cyclist had been going straight on, why would you do that other than making a point.

Cyclist didn't signal his right turn and left his lane briefly.

So, my thinking is the cyclist caused that by sailing through the red light, it pissed the biker off who felt some righteous indignation and the need to react, if the cyclist had stopped at the light none of that would have happened.

Biker isn't blameless but the chain of events was instigated by the cyclist, the ones like that give the rest a bad name so no sympathy, yes its nice to conserve momentum when you have generated it yourself but it really fks other road users off !

I'd say 50-50 - the cyclist is a knob for not indicating, or thinking about the motorcycles behind him (not like he couldn't hear them)...
He couldn't hear him - Cyclist has earphones in both his ears, so he is quite literally changing lanes without using any of his senses.

Turn the volume up as you can hear from the engine /can see on the instrument cluster that when he goes behind the cyclist, the biker lets off the gas, he only accelerates again after the lane becomes clear.

Agree with this. Once the cyclist moves over into the left lane the biker moves ahead to take up position in the right lane. The cyclist then moves back over into the right lane without signalling or looking and as has been noted, had earphones in as well.

It's never a good outcome when two idiots meet on the road.

Either could have prevented it.

The lycra knob had no regard for anyone else on the road
He triggered it and unfortunately paid the consequences of pissing another road user off
That said the biker really is going to be permanently the Unlucky Rider if he carries on like he does in his videos, when he has a serious accident
He has zero idea about defensive riding!

Was that clear as he collided with the cyclist at around 35 mph, cyclist is a dick but the biker needs to be a little more circumspect as he is giving no margin of error, relying on others to do what he expects, cyclist should not be on the road as ride like that, you cant really complain when you end up wearing a tipper truck, you need to be as suspicious and reactive as a bloody Magpie on a pedal bike as though very few things on the road want to kill you, most can.

Seems a common theme with a lot of these bikers with cams, they filter at pace and then act all angry when someone hasnt seen or anticipated them coming through standing traffic at three times the speed of anything else, the dozy person in the car that just changes lanes may well be wrong (not always) but its the biker that comes off worse. It seems to be less experienced riders that do all the ranting and revving at every perceived sleight, the smart and experienced seem to anticipate, plan and ride expecting the unexpected. Seen a few cammers like this fella, very much in a hurry to his next altercation, maybe even smack someones mirror off for daring to indicate to change lanes.
