That's going to be expensive.
Luckily he waited just long enough to crash it such that he didn't hit the cyclist.

Yes, considering his idea of a good place to floor it, no sympathy at all. And had he switched off the nannies? Surely car should have saved that one.

As a police officer may have once said to someone I may have been on a course with many years ago 'I have seen Hedgehogs with more road sense than you.'
clap

This deserves a repeat.

Range Rover driver didn't spot a double decker bus approaching...

Bus driver released from hospital the same day with minor injuries, passengers all fine. RR driver was airlifted to hospital.

What a bizarre accident, no possibility that if they looked they couldn't see that, even a range rover like that doesn't have blind spots big enough.

Here's one that came up in my recommendations.
As someone who doesn't know the area, to me looks like DCW was in the wrong lane, cuts truck up, then didn't read the road ahead enough and cut truck up again, then brake checks the truck. DCW stops, until truck also stops and then makes a hasty retreat.
Uploads it thinking he's right as you'd expect.

There is an SUV parked on the junction which may have obscured the view; you can see this after the collision. However, that doesn't excuse the fact that he pulled out without checking properly that the road was clear.

I think it was basically that the driver just didn't check. You couldn't miss a double decker bus if you'd even glanced right.

You could miss a double decker bus if it was grey, so was the sky/background, you looked but not properly, and you had dark window tints...

WTH with that first clip? The light was red at 0.5 seconds, just after the vid started. Then 9 seconds later he sails through it with a text-over saying 'light turned red'

Needs doing for DWDCA.
