South Wimbledon - calmest reaction from a dashcam driver I've ever seen - other driver is, for want of a better word, an absolute 'case.

25 seconds in, save yourself a bit of time if the embedded link doesn't behave!:

Honestly, I think I do pretty well anticipating stuff and I appreciate that the human eye sees a wider angle than that camera, but that guy had no chance. I'd love to be as chilled as that!
I love the fact that she is screaming at him despite having careered across a junction, there is a propensity that when faced with a situation some folk cannot comprehend they have made a mistake and the situation is of their own making.

Appreciate it can be stress but she just made herself look a right knob, guy who caused my only bump fully admitted it and was really beating himself up about it, felt sorry for him.

I would hope her premium is suitably chunky after that.

I've watched it a few times, she's clearly in shock but what a contrast in reactions!

On the subject of "only bump", I wish! I've had six non-faults over the years, twice I wasn't even in the car; by contrast a friend of mine in his mid-50's has never had a bump. Looking at that video I'm thankfull that every time the other party just wanted to get the details exchanged and get on with their lives.

She thought she had ROW. She "had a crash because someone didn't look". Fight or flight set in. That's pretty much it, I bet.

As usual do most people who publish dash cam clips go out of their way to try to have a collision?
If someone's in the wrong lane why not just let them in and on their way.
Because the footage wouldn't be worth uploading if they just accepted people sometimes make mistakes and help them out.

The road rage with the Prius around the start (I'm very careful around Priuses, always expect a Prius to do something stupid), it was clear what he was going to do (didn't follow the Mercedes' line) , and he was in front enough that he could have just gone behind him and shook his head, maybe even give him a toot (I think that'd have earnt a quick toot from me) and then got on with his day.

Piss poor driving from the Prius, but completely unnecessary escalation by the DCW. Of course if he just braked and went behind he wouldn't have got such a good video to upload. Guessing from the submitter being "Essex Dashcam" he has a dashcam channel that I can't be arsed looking for.
Could just be as simple as the Prius driver not knowing the area. It didn't smack of obnoxious tttery, just being a bit confused with the road layout. DCW is clearly some sort of head case who shouldn't be allowed in a car.

Shallow corner, absolutely honking it, lifted off then ran out of traction/talent!

Looks like the engine sitting in lane 3 just behind what's left of the car. Bits of car everywhere. That's a proper crash.

Yep if you've got to crash that's the way to do it... Hopefully they were OK, I assume that's them sitting on the crash barrier looking suitably dazed but ok.

I wish there was Police at almost every bloody traffic light junction. Some people treat the lights like recommendations at best.

I wonder if the whinger has a go at his next-door neighbours for also driving across his "front garden" when they go out scratchchin

Is the bus/car incident at 3:32 even the buses fault? He was well into the roundabout before the dashcammer ever got past the give way markings.

What a stupid entitled little slag, would love to see her face when she realises she's at fault. Daddy will probably bail her out again, as he more than likely has done all her life, telling her she's 'special'.
