Tory governments have typically been the ones to increase VAT, so I doubt they will scrap VAT
Sorry I was being sarcastic as the VAT would have had to disappear for US pricing parity as suggested (amongst other cost elements...).

Do you reckon the agreement will also include scrapping VAT?
VAT has been amended previously - import duties that apply in addition to VAT on imports from the US might get adjusted once we are outside Europe mind...
