Eric, are you going to take Nickfrog up on his offer? Or did you see the car on his profile and - in your words - "pussy out"?
Yes I was always planning to borrow the kids' Yaris.

You've had a lucky escape Nickfrog. You wouldn't want to meet that crackpot in real life anyway.

And to add to the original question posed, I rarely see Mercedes driven poorly ( compared to beemers and Audi's at the very least)

One trip through Birmingham or Bradford should help dispel that notion.
Mercedes have recently gone from plastic gangsters and pensioners transport to "thrusting young professionals" here. Audis are calming down and BMW are having a strong comeback with the one and four series.

Not sure I entirely agree on picking a particular brand/model of car..seen many marques driven atrociously.

I drive a 2012 E91 BMW worth £3k and a Saab 2011 9-3 worth £3k so probably a shed/banger to alot of people (but I put my money elsewhere), but I don't drive like a hooner - I respect and drive with care and look after my cars also, don't like this generational that a shed/banger = a badly driven car frown

Worst driven cars I see are "suspected" lease vehicles - driven like they are stolen sometimes.

Two more not well driven;

Mini’s. They are the new chav chariot of choice it appears, lowered, daft wheels, farty exhausts and strange windscreen stickers.

Golf R’s.

Why?
It might be true in other places too, but whenever I've visited both of these cities, they seem to be awash with A- and C-classes being driven like the driver is in the middle of a game of GTA, plus a handful of MLs or similar being driven like someone on their first driving lesson.

You’ve been to work, and you’ve been too busy.

Kinda thought the same tbh, the whole in as many words "my car is faster than yours" or i am better around a track, and the "take him up on his offer" to prove who's got the biggest cock at the end of it?

Who gives a fk?

It wasn't never going to happen. I am not sure if you've seen Eric's posting over the past few months but there comes a point of annoyance where any thought out strategy to shut him up is worth a try. Racing is not actually allowed on track days anyway, they are non competitive events. Although one can have a good idea of how good a car is and as Eric seems genuinely convinced he has a weapon and is a top driver, as a car and driving enthusiast, I would have loved to see the combination in action, even for 2 corners.
