Well Driven Makes and Models of Cars

I find golfs are usually OK. Also large luxury cars, a la A8, S Class
I'd agree with the latter, but I tend to find Golfs are one of the worst driven cars on the roads. Alfas seem to avoid the knobhead element, but part of that might just be my own bias...
I haven't noticed much in the way of silly antics from Suzukis, or Toyotas, or Citroens.
I think there's a certain amount of confirmation bias inherent in this question. For example, as someone interested in cars I don't really pay any attention to the likes of Peugeot, Citroen, Kia, little Nissans etc. I couldn't tell you the last time I consciously saw one, but I know I see hundreds a day - they just don't make it to long term memory unless the driver commits a spectacularly poor faux pas.
I do remember seeing decent BMWs, Mercs, Porsche, McLarens and so on though...
That said, while Volvo V40 and XC-whatevers tend to be driven by younger throbbers around here (thus sticking in mind), and you get the usual good/bad mixed ratio of Vauxhalls, Fords etc, I can honestly not remember the last time I was offended by anyone in a Skoda. They have a wide age range of drivers, tend to keep up with traffic and move out of the way, and generally never cause any offence whether it's a Fabia or a Superb. So I vote Skoda. Maybe it's the whole 'definitely not a badge snob and have nothing to prove' attitude that tempers their approach to driving? Or maybe I'm biased because I used to have one. *shrug* I'm in a BMW now so I doubt it.

I dislike man in a skoda.
Either older and uncoordinated with poor awareness or out to prove it is actually an Audi in pyjamas. At least you know what you are getting with the S-Line Audis and M-Sport BMW's.
(again confirmation bias I suspect as had a Yeti cut me up repeatedly - 40ish throbber with wife on board)

I think there's so many golfs on the roads you're bound to run into a badly driven one at some point which will stick in your memory, same is true of the fiesta, 3 series etc. The estate version tends to be driven pretty sensibly though. Easiest to spot these when riding a bike as they either cant overtake, close pass or pass then brake to turn left because they’re incompetent rather than malicious. There is no ‘best’ but among the worst:
Little Honda/Kia/Hyundai/Nissans (inclusive of 40 everywhere)
Older Zafira/Picasso’s (also 40 everywhere)
Virtually every Qashqai and Kia Sportage (also 40 everywhere)
Audis with wind deflectors on the windows (not a joke)
Any car with the driver wearing a hat (worse if a beard is added)
Vans, usually trades rather than delivery (usually malicious)
Any SUV driven by a yellow hared orange faced woman
Older Audi A3 with DIY black rims and windows.
BMW and Subaru’s in any sort of convoy
Reading the other posts I would agree that proper sports cars tend to be driven well, no tailgating, good overtaking and observation, and not any more likely to be speeding than the above list.

Electric cars are generally well driven, I drive a Leaf and keep my speeds to limits but do boot it off the lights. However you do get the odd high end Tesla and I-Pace on your rear end to inform you that they are higher in the food chain and desperate to overtake. Ex Audi/BMW drivers I suspect. I am also hearing reports of arguments at rapid charging points.

UberAt least in London, is there a Prius driver alive who is not a minicab driver and a complete and utter selfish cocksocket when out and about? I'm looking at you, Addison Lee, BTW.

Totally disagree. I regularly see Leafs (Leaves?) and Zoes on the motorway driving at what must be about 40mph, forcing HGVs to overtake, causing traffic in the other lanes to slow down significantly. One of them was even doing it in the middle lane. Most things pre-1970 seem to be driven with care my experience.
I would agree about Alfas being driven well, not so sure about SAAB nowadays given that plenty of 9-3s are in shed territory, despite being I suspect nice cars still.
I would say a majority of Volvo V70s are still driven well. Anything Volvo XC-- maybe not so. For that matter, any SUV whether a oversized, pimped out Audi Q7 or a front wheel drive jacked up hatchback such as a Ford Ecosport all seem to be badly driven.
