Dead easy tbh, it's basically a Yaris T-sport with a turbo kit.
Toyota's UK dealer network is also extremely good for sourcing parts for their JDM cars, I've had allsorts brought into my local dealer from Japan for my 20 year old bB, most recently a new glovebox which was about 3 weeks for them to bring over from Japan.
Fair enough then. Hats off to them being helpful which can’t be said for many manufacturers! might take the plunge with my first Toyota with this GR4Toyota's UK dealer network is also extremely good for sourcing parts for their JDM cars, I've had allsorts brought into my local dealer from Japan for my 20 year old bB, most recently a new glovebox which was about 3 weeks for them to bring over from Japan.

I guess the strong money factors in import costs etc too. Never new about this model, bet it's a hoot!
That's mostly it rather than the rarity tbh, import cost all in is probably around £2500.Rarity doesn't always guarantee value, I owned a JDM Mitsubishi of which there are maybe 5 in the UK... paid £800 for it! If nobody knows they exist and there's no demand, then the rare factor isn't always enough to drive up value on it's own.
A lot of "regular" people outside JDM circles are also weirdly reluctant when it comes to owning and running "grey" imports (lots of myths floating about i suppose, perpertuated by the motoring press), but that's fine, leaves them for the rest of us!
