£100k for a weekend toy is perhaps a bit pricey for me these days, but I must say that this looks the absolute business! Really like the UJ treatment on the rear deck. I think I'd have that done even if I wasn't one of the first 5 to buy.
Then again, you'd pay a lot more for a genuine Ferrari 250TR, with its antiquated (and sensitive!) mechanicals.Does sort of work, though.

Be fine without all the union Jack rubbish, particularly at a time when it is utterly shameful to even be associated with the UK.
The state of this post. Trust me on this one: There are more people over here, the other side of the Pond, who are pleased to be associated with the UK, than there are people in the UK.
Like the look of these. Lottery win only for me though and I do think they look better without the Union Jack/Flag frippery regardless of jingoism.

Interesting. Can your share what you'd improve?
For example:
. . . a) Appears unfinished? Raw interior, impractical?
. . . b) Bit of a bodge? Yawning gaps, vibration, kit car fitment?
. . . c) Out of tune? Engine and transmission at odds, suspension not doing its job?
probably in the way the car handles and feels on the road. What does this company know about making cars handle well? For example:
. . . a) Appears unfinished? Raw interior, impractical?
. . . b) Bit of a bodge? Yawning gaps, vibration, kit car fitment?
. . . c) Out of tune? Engine and transmission at odds, suspension not doing its job?

Not entirely convinced it was a well resolved car.

But more c) :
brake pedal needed weighting better - although I understand this can be an observation with US restomods that use these wilwood brake systems. Its actually too low for Uk roads.
Clutch quite light, but gear shift very chunky, so not a particularly sweet / natural feeling combination.
Engine note is big rather than sweet (but I’d level similar accusations at things like the alpine)
Absolutely all things that I expect could be or will be dialled in better with a bit more time.
Also, the representative was really open to this kind of feedback which made a huge difference compared with the utter drivel you have to hear from sales reps at the bigger brands to do them the honour of buying yourself a car.
Goes like st off a shovel. Damping with the nitrons was really good, overall feels like a sketchy exige 380 or similar (once you get your head around the weight being in a weird place).

A bit of b) ... petrol filler cap in the wrong place for use in the uk for example.
Can you explain this more clearly?Rumblestripe said:

An illuminating response. Thanks for this uncommon level of detail. But more c) :

And how refreshing, the open-minded conversation with that company sales rep. Probably a lesson in that for other brands -- and not just those that make and sell cars.

I don’t know much about the powertrain layout of the 350z it’s lifted from so couldn’t say what they had to alter I’m afraid. Imagine they had to some engineering to go mid engined with it. I would have had to seen on a lift to know a bit more.I loosely remember thinking it looked like the majority of weight was on rather than over the back axle. but it was just very different (for me) to then have the long bonnet driving position.
