Pickup Trucks - Chav Vehicle of Choice
Discussion
I’ve started to notice a new generation of chavs have moved on from their battered 3 door Astra’s onto bigger and better things. Such vehicles of choice being the Ford Ranger or Nissan Navara to prove the size of manhood to their Chantel’s and Vicki’s.
Am I stereotyping or are WhatCar publishing Chav editions which kept on the top shelves of newsagents, next to the naughty mags?

Which plurals qualify for apostrophes and which don't? Am I stereotyping or are WhatCar publishing Chav editions which kept on the top shelves of newsagents, next to the naughty mags?
And no, I don't think so

car speed limits.
Does that depend which one you buy?To be classed as Dual Purpose rather than Commercial it primarily needs to be:
less than 2,040 kg unladen weight
be capable of transferring power to all four wheels
be able to carry passengers
All the current Double Cab Ford Rangers are overweight and many of the Supercab variants are too
With other manufacturers, the unladen weight is likely to be the problem.
I run an older, Supercab Ford Ranger and that weighs in around 1,800 kg

I'd guess most modern double cab pickups are over 2t
I appear to of been strung a line by the dealer then - he assured me the double can ranger was the higher limits All Single Cabs are commercial irrespective of weight.

I've noticed a lot of people with crew cab pickups, you know those enormous American style ones and they usually conform to a certain 'type' that I've noticed.
They seem to be:
mid 40s to mid 50s white male
Carrying a few extra lbs
often balding
Drive aggressively
Insist on doing things like driving into central london in a vehicle that does late teens MPG if they are lucky.
Nothing against that per se, but it is annoying when they cut you up as you can be fairly sure nothing short of a large SUV will come off better in that confrontation.
