Nah, you're OK, its a more niche reference than some that get trotted out on here.

Anyway, I'm just waiting to see if I can get a Ranger or similar on the salary sacrifice scheme. Probably not

I like to think of myself more of a redneck than a chav. But, if the cap fits :-)
Why is there a sticker of your plate on the bonnet? The car in itself might be Chav (i do like proper pick ups), but that sticker is cringe worthy, a bit council and "chav"!

I'm not sure pick-ups are any more chav than anything else and I do have a soft spot for them, It's just that they don't really fit the UK.

Go to America and the badges on the wings are all "Triton", "V8", V10", "Hemi" "5.7", "6.2" and the like. The most exciting we seem to be able to come up with in the UK is "3.2 litre; 6 speed" which is a bit rubbish!

I genuinely that that plate is supposed to mean 'haters' in regard to pickups.

That that would be the case if only the registration had a T in it... or the helpful sticker above to help you out.

Looks fine.. at least it doesnt say 'Warrior' 'Long Way Down' or 'Raging Bull!'

thing is that, dually apart, most of them are no bigger than a transit - hardly an issue with fitting the UK (unless you're referring to something other than physical size - in which case I'll grab my coat)

Is amusing when people say things like a uk sized pick up is ‘too big’ to use anywhere, when I did heavy haulage we were away weeks/months at a time living in HGV cab and when you needed to go shopping/laundrette etc the cab was your only vehicle. Very rarely had problems with that never mind a little pickup! (Unless you live in the smallest village in the uk)

Yes, because private platers never intend their plates to read one thing but mean another. .

There's a lot of folks here who appear to have the sense of humour of a roadkilled hedgehog when it comes to perfectly legal number plates...

Me, I've got X15 and my initials on a fairly rapid blue XE. If people get the joke, great ,if not, that's fine too, but if people are going to whinge about a legal numberplate, then I'll point and laugh back biggrin

I had this for six years - and would have another tomorrow - so much in fact I'm on the lookout for one currently.

I couldn't give this away when I sold it in 2013 to buy my 944 - which I love - but was just the daftest thing ever. I got hardly anything for it. In fact, to buy it back now, would be at least 2x the price.

Due to the poor choice of them in the UK, it'll be coming from the US I think - there are millions over there for all budgets.

I could just go and buy a Navara or a L200 but I just can't bring myself to do it ... these are much better I think.

Next truck will be a club cab version, so longer bed than the one above - but will still seat 4/5 - back seats much reduced in comfort though.

V8 hopefully as well. The one above was a 3.9 V6.
